A three level land with outdoor Pokémon on top, cave Pokémon in the middle, and Hello Kitty on the bottom?

So, the basic idea is a descent into hell? :rimshot:

Or some could consider it a rise to heaven considering most parks you most likely would start on ground level and work your way up.

Universal Studios Orlando Opening Fourth Theme Park?

Man, someone really keeps this forth gate = forth theme park message going...dang new math..guess it is only around here where one would see terms like ‘dry park’...guess that term offends us drinkers though!

Keep in mind, the 4th park isn't the only thing coming. We still have hotels, CitiWalk 2.0, and probably a fifth park (second waterpark).

May 10 is the hearing for the motion on summary judgment in the foreclosure case. If there's an agreement to restructure for UCPM III to avoid losing those 6 parcels in bankruptcy, it'd likely have to happen before then.

This is going a bit quicker than I thought. I'm a little surprised that Stan Thomas' lawyers haven't slowed it down at all. Maybe they're just going to give up the parcels to cancel out the debt? Just a bit weird that they haven't tried some defensive maneuvers to delay the process at least (as they did when the main 475 acre set of parcels was in foreclosure).

If the case continues without settlement, we could see a bankruptcy sale on the 6 parcel package within 6 months.

IMO, if two or more Nintendo properties are going into the 3rd dry park, they should be separated from the rest of the park. The lands will be crowded as all hell, and by separating them, you can help control the crowds.

If Nintendo is going into a new park, the crowds won't be too bad considering that every part of the park will be new and everyone will be spread out.

It seems like Nintendo will be the main reason to go for a lot of people, and the crowds would be insane no matter what else there is in the rest of the park. You could potentially use the land-buffers as partial queues, if need be.

Okay, this is the up-to-date map of Universal Orlando and Stan Thomas' holdings.

Depending on what happens with the foreclosure case, those red parcels with either turn purple (Universal) or green (Stan Thomas).

Just wanted to show the complete perspective of the current resort versus the 2nd resort on the proper scale.

If the foreclosure is completed and Universal buys the red parcels, then I think it's a near guarantee that Universal would end up with the rest of Stan Thomas' land at some point (probably a year or so later).

Those red parcels (around 82 acres) are the most valuable land in Stan Thomas' remaining holdings in Orlando.

Once those parcels are removed, then Universal is the only realistic owner of the remaining land and a deal will end up happening.

The only way that it doesn't end up like this is if the red parcels avoid foreclosure sale. Then we end up with a long drawn out sale process like we saw with Ripleys and others buying land from Stan Thomas' OEP.

I really curious as to how Universal will attempt to prevent the new resort from having the same problems as the current one. At the current resort, you currently have USF's entrance, IOA's lack of expansion space, CitiWalk's overcrowding issues, and Volcano Bay's capacity nightmares + technical issues + sightline problems (I4 is extremely visible) + botched transportation system. It's going to be an interesting couple of years for sure.

1.) Island's has a lot of space that they can further flesh out their park. Just because it looks like it, doesn't mean that it is.

2.) The only sight-line problems are at best with Volcano Bay, but that's also due to that the waterpark is built alongside I-4.

3.) Volcano Bay is continuously improving, and is starting to seemingly get the hang of it's capacity

4.) Citywalk is also very much improving, getting more and more onto their belt into a rather impressive roster

Universal Studios Florida's entrance, is a bit of a cluster, considering the other parks have done better (especially looking at Hollywood on how that's handled), but that isn't something you can easily replace and call a day with.

As for transport, you have 3 methods of getting to the parks:

Ferry service from Adventura/Sapphire to Citywalk, Royal Pacific to Citywalk, Hard Rock to Citywalk, and Portofino Bay to Citywalk. And then vice versa for those.

The only bus hotels so-far are Cabana Bay and soon enough, Dockside and Surfside. And even then, Cabana Bay hooks with all of the others via by the garden-walk that is implemented to just walk to the parks from your hotel.

And as far as technical issues, the only one that seems to have it, is Drupercharged, and that it seems like there are indications that it may soft as of today, April 7th.

What I am curious about with UOSouth, is how they'll handle the direction of flow throughout, and if they'll try to go more to a level that is more similar to Beijing's resort property.

Sorry, all of the final reasons were for VB. That's why I put pluses instead of commas.
