Can someone make a map showing all of Universal Orlando’s land holdings, including all the original land, all the parcels they got with Wet N Wild, and all the new land near and around the OCCC? Also show the potential Stan Thomas foreclosure land they could acquire.

I think @zg44 may be the best man to ask in that category.

I feel like it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a new thread on the South Property with all those maps as the original post. Or if the mods can add them to the front of this thread for convenient reference.

Hello, new poster here! I just wanted to chime in and say that I think it’s likely that it’s likely that Universal’s 4th Gate could be a sort of “World of Animation” park with SNW headlining the park and the most popular Dreamworks properties (Shrek, Panda, HTTYD, Madagascar) to compliment them. It’d make sense as a third gate and give it a distinct identity from the other two parks. If Universal has acquired the rights to LOTR, it’d make more sense thematically to put it in LC or somewhere else within Islands of Adventure, as that seems like the park for fantasy attractions. Though based off what I’ve seen from this board, it seems like Universal may be eyeing LC for a Zelda attraction.

I don't know there is already quite a bit of "animation" in the other parks, Shrek, Despicable Me, KidZone, Toon Lagoon, and Suess. So it would seem a little like overkill to have a whole new park that was strictly animation, and then if you removed all the above mentioned areas from USF and IOA the parks would seem rather unbalanced without much for the kiddos.

Welcome to the boards.

It's quoting slashfilm that's quoting the same D&M story from yesterday. Same news, reblogged.

Question,

Didn't the approval of the Poler Coaster potentially change the height limits for the upcoming park?

And at some point D&M will quote one of these stories as confirmation of their story. It's theme park echo chamber gone wild.

There was a lot of speculation at the time that Uni was fighting the Polercoaster so hard, so that when it did get approved, no one could really oppose anything they were planning at the South Plot.

I doubt it. Even if it did, I don't see anything in the new resort going over 250 feet, if they even attempt to go that high.

I 100% think that was the case.

But I also don't expect Universal to build anything that tall

I see them building a 200-250 ft tall ride/structure, but nothing bigger.

Of course I'm not expecting anything 400 ft up in the air, more so thinking about park acreage...

With SNW being built more so in a vertical manner rather than the traditional horizontal manner, could we potentially see multiple levels in one park with lands being built on top of each other simpler to indoor theme parks like Lotte World? (I.E Indoor Hello Kitty park bottom level and above it a two level Pokemon land with one being caves and duengeons while the level above is open air all being present in an 10 acre space which if put side by side would total 30 acres)

Doing so could mitigate weather factors, allow for IPs that work much better indoors rather than outdoors (Trolls and Space based IPs) as well as open up a lot more space and you could build show buildings on top of other show buildings essentially.

Thanks for the confirmation though.

A three level land with outdoor Pokémon on top, cave Pokémon in the middle, and Hello Kitty on the bottom?

So, the basic idea is a descent into hell? :rimshot:
