I get the aversion from a privacy standpoint. But, I will tell you that the technology is everywhere now. I work at a large retail store, you are on camera from the moment you drive into the parking lot. The video quality is frighteningly good. Like you steal a TV and walk to your car, they can zoom in and get your license plate.
They put people on watch lists for theft, and the cameras in the store will let them know when you walk in.
We have no privacy anymore, just the illusion of privacy.
When I walk onto universal property I assume I am on someones camera.
