I didn’t want to dive into that avenue of it. Profitability can wax and wane.Nintendo and Potter are also...just leagues more profitable than Monsters

Pika...pika...I didn’t want to dive into that avenue of it. Profitability can wax and wane.
*Mark Woodbury angrily smashes EU model with a Kuka arm*I heard an interesting tidbit today. When EU was mothballed all the models and materials got packed away (some were trashed in the process). One of the things mentioned was a model of a "broom" ride...
Someone make art of this.*Mark Woodbury angrily smashes EU model with a Kuka arm*
the sentence is already artSomeone make art of this.
They *can* do anything they want. I just seriously doubt they will.
A broom sitting on a pedestal with kuka arm motion base hidden inside that lifts it up during the ride would look like it was just a broom with a seat.
Yes. That’s exactly what I showed in my article and video.I don't know if this has been mentioned already but something like this?

Maybe there should be some test VR as well? I remember my first time trying VR in 2017, and I remember getting motion sick just looking around a static space while sitting down.Yes. That’s exactly what I showed in my article and video.
EDIT: Yes on the ride motion base. I didn’t show the accelerometer gyroscope headgear, but I mentioned that was part of their plan to reduce motion sickness.

Thanks for sharing the helmet one though! I hadn’t seen it, just heard about the tech testing a few years back. Very cool to see they patented it.I watched that video and read the article as well.:bonk:
my memory is getting worse.
It sounded to me like a parade was possible for the future, but wasn’t something they were planning to open with. It’s been so long since it’s been discussed I can’t really remember much discussion of it or around it.
There is a parade route, correct? I believe there is from what I recall around the big Vegas style water show infront is the hotel.
And, if there is a parade route, are we thinking IPs are included or will this be original? With the original design of the hub I think that’d be really cool to get.
Makes sense, get the lay of the land of how guests are going to be walking around the hub and where popular areas are and not. That’s exciting though, and original version of concept brought to the Parade from Japan with the water effects all around it, my lord it could be a thing of beauty and I don’t even love parades that much.It sounded to me like a parade was possible for the future, but wasn’t something they were planning to open with.
I'm hoping the park receives a horror make-up style show that's easy to get in and provides a nice break.
On the VR front, this is what can be done at home today.
