I do like the ideas of different regions being a basis for the different sections of the park. As @jseal777 said, an Asian themed area that features Tokyo feat. Hello Kitty & Super Nintendo World, and China feat. Kung Fu Panda would work well IMO. A similar Europe area featuring Middle-Earth, Scandinavia feat. Berk, and Transylvania feat. Universal Monsters would be cool too. I'm not sure what other regions/IPs would work besides those two, however.

Animal crossing is never coming to Orlando IMO.

The new park needs a Godzilla attraction though.

Unpopular opinion: Animal Crossing should never go into any theme parks as a whole. The game series is overrated.

Seriously. Make a large Godzilla head for some and then feet. I’d even take a Kongfrontation redo.

It actually makes the most sense

East Asia:
China: Kung Fu Panda, Original attraction, Journey to the West, Legend of Condors
Japan: Pokémon, Studio Ghilbi, Hello Kitty, Animal Crossing, Shonen Jump, Mario, Godzilla, Pacific Rim, Kubo

Europe:
Scandanvia: Berk, Trolls
Ireland: Song of Sea, Secret of Kelis, The Wolfwalker
Non Modern London: Sherlock Holmes, Voyage of Dr Doolittle, Dr Who since he can time travel, Box Trolls
Germany/Romania: Shrek, Universal Monsters
Greece: Original Attraction
Medieval Europe: King Arthur, Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda

America:
The Oasis: Ready Player One
OZ: Self explanatory
Halloween Town: Paranorman, Coraline, Trollhunters, House with a clock in its wall, Goosebumps, Gremlins,
Xmas Town: The Rankin Bass Classics
The Neighborhood: Goonies, Little Rascals, etc

Africa:
Madagascar, Curious George, Congo, original attractions

I like this idea, although I'd put Tokyo in USF since it's an urban area and theme the new park to rural villages and small towns. I don't even think SNW would need a London-like façade; a castle in a village wouldn't be so out of place imo. Add in other areas like a small town in the Amazon, an abandoned island in Micronesia, etc.

A theme like that would help it remain distinct from USF and IOA.

I've actually never played a game in the series, but if it sold more copies than pkm sun and moon then it deserves SOMETHING, at least a food cart or something.

(Shipped more copies...which means big retailers ordered the games for sale not that they sold them however most games that get shipped usually indicates people are buying them).

I don't care if the Dark Universe movies are considered a flop, they need to have a proper land devoted to Universal Classic Monsters. Good or bad IPs (also subjective) have no correlation to attraction quality or enjoyment. Horror is a HUGE draw, as seen with HHN. A horror themed area would be insanely successful, imho. And horror merch would sell like crazy, too. Just my 2 cents and desires.

The most sales in millions for any animal crossing is 11.52. Sun and moon was 16. So it didn’t outsell it.

How many times do you see UCM at HHN? How many times do you see The Purge? People like “horror,” yes, but I don’t think the classic monsters have as much of a draw as they once did, no matter how important they are to Universals history. I think Monsters Cafe is a fitting tribute.

You don't need a popular or strong IP to have a great attraction. You just need a well designed/engineered attraction. The Lost Continent pre-Potter was my favorite theme park land and it had nothing to do with an IP. It was well themed and had great rides. Also, I'll reiterate the example that's always used in this argument: WaterWorld at USH. Considered a not-good movie, and a movie the majority of people have never even seen, but people love the show. So again, if they do well with a theme, they succeed. And horror is fail-proof... if they do it right.

Also, as a side note, a permanent theme-park land and a temporary HHN house are two hugely different beasts where IPs are handled very differently.
