Unless this attraction also contains large and expansive street sets, plus a cast of dozens of animated figures, it poses no danger to the relevance of MIB.

That's very true, the practical nature of MIB is not to be forgotten

I'm still finding new things in the set pieces all these years later

Hopefully Villain-Con has some of the rumored practicality to it as well

I really love the whole gimmick that this is a VillainCon hosted at USF. Gives it a lot of charm already, and I'm really curious as to how it's gonna feel inside. Here's to hoping we get a fun self-aware joke or two.

Or some reference to Shrek 4D. Universal loves to include easter eggs that pay tribute to former attractions in the space they used to be. Hopefully we got some images of the inside very soon.

Mel’s is going down for a refurb, yes, but haven’t heard anything about when Minion Cafe is opening. I believe Mel’s is getting kitchen upgrades, but not 100% certain that’s all it’s for.
