If Potter is effecting the Studios they might as well just go ahead and make it and IOA one park.
Potter has already taken two rides, now possibly three?

I don't like the direction they're going in with this. You can have too much of a good thing. Their pinholing they're audience if this is more Potter. (And yes, I realize I just opened the "Potter is popular and always will be floodgates".)

^^^Which is why I'm assuming Potter won't be the only thing coming to USF.

You have to be right for this to make any sense. Amity is pretty big, and since FFL will probably be lumped in, that's a good portion of the park.

We don't know for sure FFL is going with it, so I won't touch that for now.

But, Potter will seemingly take over Amity, while the opposite side of the park gets a few new additions. At least that's my feeling.

I'm confident it's gone. Employees told they were closing last summer. So it can go at any moment.

I'm pretty sure it'll go as well. But until the construction walls surround it as well, I won't say it's a definite.

One thing we know for sure: It's going to be some REALLY interesting years for UOR.

Really interesting across the globe for theme parks. It's been quite a bombshell year.

I tried to not sound so cocky as that. Better said in the past tense, sorta. I believe I made a post on November 22nd too. No riddles.

Very true.

And I think it's almost guaranteed that a replacement announcement will come at the centennial celebration thingie. Why else would they close it so quickly?

Excuse my laziness, but I will just copy and paste what I put in the Bye Bye Jaws thread:

I will always be on the more-Potter bandwagon, but to be honest I don't see how Potter can extend from IoA into Jaws' lot. For it to go in that space it'd be one of two options. One would be a humongous expansion of the current WW stretching the length of the whole Universal complex, seeing as WWoHP and Jaws are on completely opposite ends of Universal, so I highly doubt that. The other option is having a separate Potter experience in the Studios, and I would really dislike that... NOT a good fit at the Studios. IoA is where you enter the worlds represented in each island. Studios is where you experience the movies, not the worlds. For Potter, I want it to remain at IoA at all costs. Take out what's left of Lost Continent or take out what's behind dueling dragons and relocate those offices or whatever is there elsewhere. I am completely against Potter in the Studios.

I can see Potter fitting into the Studios...Perhaps with a more behind the movies feel to it. Since IOA is about the imaginary USF could take the real world approach with a real world area from the books. My Potter knowledge is horrible but wasn't Diagon Alley in London or am I crazy? This could also be for a Sci-Fi city clone...#1 we would get Transformers, #2 possibly a new coaster, #3 the transition to MIB would be much nicer.

^^^I don't see Transformers going there. And apparently Coup said it won't happen.

Felipe said:
JungleSkip, you said that you heard that Potter is going in Jaws' place. Now could it be that they'll take out Jaws in USH and Potter goes there but for USF the expansion will just be in the remaining LC?

Jaws in USH isn't a ride. It's a portion of the Studio Tour.

I really hope Potter isn't replacing Jaws. HP in both parks is just a stupid and greedy move for Uni. I don't know how it could possibly work out well. Unfortunately, it seems like thats the direction they're going in, which sucks.

I dont want to sound rude but whatever......some of you guys have no brain. Potter is not going to Universal. Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. However, it would be hilarious if they made a twilight section in Uni.

I think that all admission media will be 2-park passes. They will keep the seperate entrances, but the pass will work at both. Essentially turning it into one big park, but not.

The rumor came from somewhere, aka sources within Universal. When there is smoke, there is usually fire.

I dunno. Putting Potter into two separate parks would be an easy way for Universal to get more money from HP fans. And if there was a Hogwarts Express connecting the two, you wouldn't have to worry about it being a capacity nightmare; it would be exclusive to only those with a 2-park ticket. Hell, they could even include a platform 9 3/4 ticket with your purchase.
