Spins the World speculates that a Borgin and Burkes walkthrough experience would be guided by the shop owners.

Project 722 – The Borgin and Burkes Experience.
We’ll start the days Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion news with a little insider tidbit:

ibomie8sQmiGTW.jpg

An owl has informed us that the expansion will host a Borgin and Burkes walk-through experience. Here’s the note:

“I thought it was one of the most fascinating features the WWoHP expansion will offer. Borgin and Burkes was an under-explored area of Knockturn Alley, so we are thrilled to offer the experience to visitors. Our guests will be ushered into the store by Mr. Borgin and Mr. Burkes and encouraged to explore the shop and interact with the mysterious items that are housed inside – including the famous Hand of Glory.”

  • Dark Magic…
Borgin and Burkes was a shop located in Knockturn Alley. The shop is known for buying and selling the sometimes dangerous artifacts related to Dark Magic.

Here’s what it looked like in the films:

I know Disneyhead mentioned that the other day. I just don't see this jiving with the target audience.

I mean it seems that if they went through with it, it would literally be a year round haunt. :look:

If that is true, what would that do for the exterior? Amity and London are pretty far apart!

They replaced the outer shingle work quite some time ago! I could be wrong but I certainly do remember and know for a fact that the exterior of the amity bathrooms were updated when the embankment was being constructed.

The replaced shingles on the Amity bathrooms was only a limited section on the side facing the lagoon.

This won't be low capacity (as in letting a certain amount in each time), right?

Borgin and Burkes? If it is indeed happening, yes. It would most likely be a lower capacity attraction.

I'd imagine it would have a wait/setup similar to Ollivanders

I'd imagine a B&B would be more like Zonko's. Less of a need for a show system and entertainment with the store.

Also, a fun tidbit. For right now due to the construction on the Hogwarts Express IoA side platform, the Dragon Challenge is now opening most days at 11AM instead of with the park to give the teams more time to work on things without having to worry about the live ride track.

There has been no mention of a B&B "store" to my knowledge.

If B&B is coming it's going to be a Ollivander's type attraction. Vanishing cabinets anyone?

Building 65A has been classified as a "mercantile" and is getting an acoustic ceiling system.

Building 235 (Hogsmeade Station) was issued yesterday.
Building 64E (Platform 9 3/4) and 64D (Borgin and Burkes?) was issued as well.

Why would it be a Olivander's type attraction? Olivander's in the canon has a unique experience. Buying a wand which chooses the wizard. That's an experience. Borgin and Burkes is the equivalent of an antique shop. What unique personal experience does an antique shop offer? When people go to Oli's its because the wandmaster may choose them and the wand "chooses" them. Guests dig that. There's no way to really do that on a personal level with B&B. B&B is more likely to be a walkthrough store with effects going on out of reach instead of a cycling show. They are apples and oranges and have to be treated as such.

Yes. Have you looked at the map? 64 is one unified structure and comprises of most of Diagon Alley. 65 is a one-off merchant building. 66 is Gringotts.
