Sorry if this has been asked or discussed before but I didn't see it mentioned as I read through the previous pages, is there any information on whether or not a replica of the Knight bus will be in diagon alley? I'm really hoping for a photo op Knight bus. :smiley:

Was there a knight bus there for grand opening of phase one, I thought I saw a pic.......

If so I can see them bringing it back in for phase 2, in fact Ill have 10 bucks that they do.:smiley:

I have no insider information but I do know that Universal has a Knight Bus that they used in the grand opening of wizarding world (it's a legit bus that they can actually drive around) so maybe they will park it in Diagon or drive it around the outside of 'London'? It would be awesome if they did...

I believe that bus was only brought over for the grand opening and is not on Universal property all the time, if my memory is correct from something I read about it a long while back

I wouldn't be surprised if there is one in phase 2. It would never of worked in phase 1 but phase 2 its a perfect fit with London and DA.

I went not too long after the grand opening and I remember seeing the knight bus still on the property. I saw it from the top of the hill on HRRR. Maybe its been hidden all this time...

I believe the Knight Bus was only on loan here in Orlando for the grand opening of phase 1. If memory serves me it was shipped over from England and was eventually shipped back after a while. I believe it is the one that is now on display at the 'Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour' in Leavesdon, England (although I think there where two made for the movie, one never had an interior though I heard).

I recall seeing pictures of it 'broken down' (the third floor comes off) for shipping shortly after it disappeared from Universal's property. In the pictures I saw, which may have been on this board in the phase 1 thread somewhere, it was in a shipping yard with shipping containers and other vehicles around it. The person who posted the pics claimed to have info from the person who had taken the pictures (who, i think, worked for the company shipping it) that it was being shipped back to England.

That being said, I don't know why Universal couldn't build one of their own. They did it with the Hogwart's Express locomotive after all. I too would love to see a permanent photo op Knight Bus parked on the street outside of phase 2 when I go!

I would very much like one for Phase 2 - excepting that it's a (very small) pedestrianised street, so I'm not sure where it could go. If the idea is that the waterfront 'London' isn't tarnished by Potter in any way then it can't go out there either.
