Not that I know of. The one that was here is at the studio in England. So unless Universal builds their own there won't be a Knight Bus.

That said, Universal certainly has the ability to build one and would make a cool photo op, but I have not heard of them considering it.

Yes. Universal Creative had it specially built just for the park. So they COULD do it again for the Knight Bus. But I have no idea whether they plan to or not.

^ I would hate to see all of that lavender/purple sitting around 24/7 in the same place... but 4-5 London visits and photo op drive-thru's per day and then circling backstage once again might be fun. Especially at night. (side note: I don't believe the knight bus ever went into Diagon Alley... only zipped around on London muggle streets)

How large will the streets be in London compared to Hogsmede? I really hope it has more because there isn't enough space to prevent Hogsmede from being completely packed practically all the time, it would be a traffic nightmare if the streets were even smaller than the streets in Phase 1.

^ The London area is huge for foot traffic... it is the entrance to Diagon and Diagon itself that concerns us, as much of it is only 20 feet wide.

I hope they make the shops bigger this time, they are quite cramped in Hogsmead.

I'm really hoping for a Knight Bus attraction. A photo op replica and a ride, something like a small coaster like flight of the hippogriff would be good or better yet a 3D journey like Star Tours. Several different crazy, high speed trips through various areas like London, Scotland, etc. The Knight Bus can go anywhere after all and it would make for multiple rides per visit.

I do like the knight bus like star tours idea. A couple dream ideas for me are for them to build the quidditch field and have a large coaster in the middle of the field. And the other is to have a forbidden forest ride similar to haunted mansion dark ride. :drool5:

Any idea of how this "Diagon Alley through wall in the Leaky Couldron" entrance effect will be done?

If true, it would be great if they had a projected date on them. I am not sold on the theoretical date being bantered around.

I believe that lies on the hands of JKR. I believe it was one of the turning factors for here giving Universal the right instead of Disney, would want to build large open supermarket like stores (well you know what I mean).

somebody said awhile back ago make Fear Factor The Ministry Of Magic. I really really like that idea but i think a wizarding duel show or any Harry Potter show would also be a great idea!

What's this theoretical date? and what do you estimate to be the date? (I'm hoping for Summer 2014 or Holidays 2014 at the latest)

I shall hold my counsel. Can anyone give me the link to the original Wizarding World thread. I thought it was discussed and viewed recently but it isn't to be found on any IOA thread pages. Was it moved?

Even though it isn't a direct announcement, the hinting in public would cause a lot of attention all of a sudden. And....

There's a major problem with that. Universal lost a significant size of money because people stopped coming to UO on vacation when they heard the WWoHP was being built. They put it on standby and wanted to wait for it to be finished. It is VERY unlikely that they will do anything without a major event or to take the focus off of Transformers. Expect a WWoHP-2 announcement after Transformers, or after HHN maybe. This is a major move for UO to make and it won't come at some random time.

I would be very surprised to see anything Phase 2 related pop up in park this early.
