Quickly - slightly off topic but mentioned by Jim Hill was that USH was getting a far more fleshed out Hogwarts with Great Hall dining and a Dark Arts class. Has anyone ever heard about this? I figured they were just cloning.

I didn't exactly want more HP but a slight addition of the Great Hall (think Be Our Guest) would rake in sooo much money for Uni and help keep the crowds a little more enticed to revisit IOA if they've already experienced that side fully.

Also he mentioned a 3 showroom version of Ollivanders at Diagon. Is the current IOA version only one showroom? - if so are they planning on keeping it? It shouldn't be in IOA as is technically...

pardon my french but i will be pissed if USH gets the Great Hall and they dont have it here in Orlando. Call me spoiled but i would rather have a Great Hall than Hippogriff or a Olivanders thats not even supposed to be in Hogsmeade. I guess its just the hardcore potter fan in me but The Great Hall is a BIG DEAL.

I thought the elevator was for the Ministry of Magic? What does it have to do with Gringotts or the train station?

I would very much like to see the hall, as it plays such a big part in the sets of the movies.

EXACTLY. So if they put one in USH they better plan on putting one in Orlando. Does make you wonder though..what other rides would they have?..i have a hard time believing they are gonna build dragon challenge or Flight of Hipogriff.

Isn't the Great Hall featured in the Dragon Challenge queue? If that's it, then it's not that impressive. A fully immersive Great Hall would be ideal.

Where would they even put the Great Hall? I don't want to walk into it from Hogsmeade, seems like it would ruin the authenticity of just walking into a room in Hogwarts while Hogwarts castle is off in the distance.

Apparently, Gringotts has a secret elevator never seen on film or page

Its Universal im sure they could figure out a way to put it in Hogwarts. Im just surprised they never included The Great Hall into Hogwarts originally...but when you get on Forbidden Journey though the floating candles are in the room so idk if that room is supposed to be like The Great Hall?..

They would have to somehow squeeze it between FJ & JP. They would likely need to remove a TM eatery/break area. It's doable, and if its really in the works for USH, I could see it happening. It would easily recoup the investment.

I cannot confirm anything regarding the Hollywood version but the Orlando Ollivanders within Diagon Alley will without a doubt have three showrooms with increased capacity.

I haven't read the books lately, and I'd have to go back and watch the last few movies, but I'm pretty sure an Olivanders branch does exist in Hogsmeade in at least one of the book or movie.

It's not Ollivander's, but there is a shop in Hogsmeade that "repairs' wands, but I don't recall the name.

There was a branch of Ollivanders Wand Shop in Hogsmeade. It's in High Street..this branch is very similar to the one in Diagon Alley. It was run by an associate of Garrick Ollivander. As a Potter geek i should have remembered that.

Dervish and Banges is the only Hogsmeade shop I can recall repairing magical instruments, though I don't remember if Rowling specified wands and I feel as though most people would rather have it repaired by Ollivander, anyway.

To all those who incessantly bring up the "Ollivander's isn't even in Hogsmeade" thing: if J.K. Rowling can accept the idea of a Hogsmeade branch, I'm sure you'll manage. I actually quite like the idea of the parks creating little pieces of canon.

I'm also interested to see how the Diagon Alley Ollivander's will fit into the timeline. Anything before HBP and Ollivander is supposed to be there; it would be kind of lame putting an assistant there. Anything after HBP and the shop's supposed to be closed. We actually never know if it even reopens. Maybe something about it reopening under new management after the war?

That was hilarious! Ok, but seriously, it will be interesting from a story standpoint how they handle it. Maybe some Musion tech?

Yes, talking about Olivanders with that comment. It would really differentiate the two as well, at least with the show. Give them two unique settings and styles.
