Vertical construction has actually been going on for quite a while now.

Great update Mike! I'm surprised that the AC Vents (that's what they are, right?) are in place already.

My guess is they are gone close this puppy up about the time the steamy season starts. AC would be a nice thing for the workers in there.

Steamy season? What is this "steamy season you write about? Orlando never gets hot  That's what I was thinking when I saw the pics of the AC units myself. Also wouldn't it be well over 100 degrees in there during the summer thereby weakening the steel that's in place and compromising any of,the electronics they installed already?

Looks like it.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised it seems to have gone from simply a shell of a building to WAY MORE very quickly!

Hmmm... I don't recall seeing that coating on Transformers steel work. Was it something I missed?

I never paid much attention myself, but this is the exterior and highly visiable.
Sometimes they spray it on first and other times they allow the subs to do some work and then spray, it just depends. When they spray first anybody who follows has to scrape the crap off to be able to make their attatchments and seals, and it is a real pain to not scrape too much or have to work around the stuff. And then thee is always the codes and square footage that dictate requirements.

Repaint? Your gonna need a closure of 4-6 weeks to get 7k ft of track repainted. And that's using a massive crew and working 24 hours a day.

Would a repaint be more likely once new attractions are open? I mean You never see much of queue but this thing must be a people eater.

Remember, I told you all that they would not close Hulk to repaint it and they didn't. The crews worked through the night on lifts. I would assume it will be precisely the same for DC.
