Considering there may be delays of any sort on any given run, I would expect it to be very difficult to maintain any effect that relies on synchronization of train movement and the video storyline. What if you get to the dementor part of the video before you reach the area where the train can stop safely? But maybe the video can be presented in a sort of modular way that would seamlessly transition from an intro part of the show to a few different story/action parts of the video with plain old English counrtyside filler video that can run as long or as short as needed in between.

That is why it would make the most sense for them to move on one drive system. Both start at the same time so your sure the other train won't cause delays.

Even after they both start a run, there can be reasons to stop and result in delays enroute which would mess up story/movement synchronization.

Once in motion if the ride stops the show will be dead. Just like it is for every other ride.

They would both still stop, and the video would stop as well. This is not unusual. I've been on Spider-Man and FJ when the ride stops and the video stops, or resets, or continues with no sound. Happens.

What would be cool, is if they created a sort of curtain effect on the screen windows, so when there's a stop they can "pull down the curtains" and stop the video, then when the ride is back up, they can "lift the curtains" and the ride video can continue where it left off.

not really...what if they have it where it completes the "cycle" of the film and afterwards it just defaults to the "in station" screen? I doubt they would just black out the screens

Anyone have new news? It seems like ever since the public announcement, new info is scarce. I'm going crazy here!

Hmmm... first and perhaps last post. Can anyone here verify this, and where they are being held?

Well most delays are usually caused by loading/unloading. Since they dispatch that won't be an issue so your taking it would be a technical issue or someone jumping into the ride track. Now if they e-stop then yes we are taking no motion and blank screens. An e-stop de-energizes the system. For a ride stop they could finish the video and then go station video. But station video doesn't explain why the train stopped when it should have been moving and was still moving when it should have been stopped.

It's more likely they would just blank the screen and have a delay spiel since it would most likely be a technical issue and take a few mins to fix since guest delay is out of the question.

There is some amazing stuff that is going on right now. I just can't believe these "other" sites haven't shared the current issues and groundbreaking details. I mean they have been sharing the same info as what myself and several others here have posted just a day or two after us. There not giving us credit so they must have all the info themselves.

Long story short I'm gonna let these other sites take care of sharing all the Potter info they seem to have without the help of my insight as well as my unnamed sources for awhile.
