We all know that Lost Continent's proximity to Jurassic Park let UC just build the temporary bridge to divert traffic from the blocked off construction area. But with this supposed Phase II overtaking the remnants of the Lost Continent, what will be the new traffic flow in the park? (Considering that construction walls would be set up at the WWOHP arch and the bridge to Seuss Landing)

Also, do the current rumors of the expansion say to what extent Lost Continent will be changed? Like, ALL off what's left or just the Arabian section excluding Mythos and Poseidon?

I don't want to say I know what's happening, but from what I've managed to gather, there will be a lot of the backstage cannibalized with the expansion, where they could probably get by without re-routing traffic, but I can't say for sure.

IF, and that's a big if, it is announced this weekend, I would expect an announcement at the gala event.

There are no keynotes scheduled as far as I know, but UC will have a heavy presence at the event.

Why would UC even be at this celebration event? What has everyone assumed prior to the info that you posted here? I can see no reason for UC to be present other than to present something.

From the original announcement, I believe they said it was to talk about Wizarding World, and we all just took that on face value.

I agree. But even then, I'm really, really trying to temper my own expectations. No matter what an inside source says, you never know for sure until it's announced and you see construction.

With that being said, it does seem to be the perfect storm of info and things happening. We'll see this weekend!

I was holding my tongue. Glad that you guys did not. They announced this celebration back in July. When did the misinfo about HP spreading to US occur and why was it released by whomever? I am soooooo skeptical that anything will be announced... however, this shred of news, NBC Today Show will be there on Friday, and they will be launching a 'how it was made' program on CNBC. They are either seeing a drop in reservations a year from now and trying to bump the park... or...

I am in the dark as my few seem spooked... Disneyhead? Lee from the other site?

Then another friend, who usually doesn't give out much info, told me it was good to go. Add in the insane amount of media coverage the event seems to be getting (Today Show, E! Channel coverage, CNBC special)...and it all just seems to be a TON of stuff going on.

Dunno what's going on with Disneyhead or Lee, but I know the friend who told me it was good to go is good friends with Lee. Take that as you will.
