Wow, that are some amazing photo's HTF. Thank you very much!
I even see they are putting in the back of the most right building. It's looking great!

If you are referring to the pictures on page 48 (two pages back) they were not taken by HTF, they were taken by Disneyhead.

I wonder if they may open up the park to park access from within the parks to ease the demand on the train. That way those who are simply going from park to park may have a more appealing option.

That would require significant changes to back of house infrastructure and procedures. To be able to do that requires them to shut down part of the baseline behind Citywalk and actually cuts off access to BMG in the process. That will not happen.

I promise you guys, this is not an e-ticket, it was never supposed to be. This is an amazing D ticket, but not even close to an E. The capacity is not there, either.

I've seen them do this in the past on a temporary basis, perhaps it might be an option at peak times?

Logically, how can something be "an amazing D ticket, but not even close to an E"? By my understanding, an amazing D-ticket would be nearly a modest E-ticket. Isn't it a continuum, or are there specific criteria?

CONCEPT ART SPOTTED IN PARK. Without breaking ANY rules my friend and I stumbled upon 3 large prints of unreleased concepts for the new Diagon expansion. I'll say that they were behind closed doors somewhere in port of entry. One depicted Gringots facade with what I thought was a shinny possibly metallic dome WITH a dragon perched at top, wings in the air. (PLEASE NOTE I AM AWARE OF ALL CURRENT LEAKED AND NONE LEAKED ART AND THESE ARE NOT ANY OF THOSE) one of the others was a view fr either inside the train station or under the glass canopy on the right side of the new land by the "goblin" show area. Anyways, I'm excited. Took a photo but am afraid to post and it's not the most clear photo.

^ Sounds fun and thanks for at least letting us know you saw it. I wonder if it was new promotional concept art or internal art director concept art. Regardless, you must have nearly pissed your pants!

Their were a few "special" out of town visitors today, and a couple from other companies earlier last week. They are showcasing the artwork for said visitors

I even heard that a group of undercover Disney top brass toured the parks disguised as tourists. :nunchucks:

That seems, odd, especially with IAAPA this week when nobody would give it a second though to see somebody from another company at another park.

I don't really know what benefit this would serve for them. To see how Universal runs things? That's an open page. The Florida theme park industry isn't state regulated, but out of good faith every theme park invites executives from all of the other ones to come and inspect their operations. Somewhere I have a photo of last year with Universal's attraction director with people from Disney, SeaWorld, Dollywood, and LegoLand.

Secret Shoppers isn't a made up term. I have heard that George K. and his Partner have even Secret Shopped the WDW parks to see how things went. I do wonder if they Secret Shopped UOR?

Everyone knows that UOR would pull out all the stops if they knew Disney Brass was coming. Just like I move the couch to vacuum when I know that my parents or Ex Wife is coming to visit.

Secret Shopping is far more impressive to me than the in suit with complete entourage "spontaneous" park visits that so many Disneyland fans seems to go nuts about.

I would never be surprised to see any executive who actually enjoys theme parks at another company's park. I'm more bothered that were so surprised to see executives in parks.

The great thing is that most WDW CMs wouldn't know GK if they checked his lap bar. Much less his partner. And Mark Woodbury? Who's that?

Sounds about right. It'll be an amazing experience, a stunning not to mention quite complex way of moving between parks, but not sustained enough for a full blown E ticket.

Save that for Gringotts. Maybe even an E+.

Just a thought. Last week HTF told us that the capacity of the trains has been lessened, but could not say why. I am wondering if the simple reason for the lessening is because they had to bevel the projection jut-outs so they could not be seen at an angle from the loading platforms. The bevels are eating up a ton of end space on each carriage which would have likely limited the number of internal cabins.

Please recall that the numbers we had been working for the with for the past year were based on clear evidence of no jut-outs and the necessary bevel at all at the time of initial bid.

Had they already planned for the disabled access/seats?
