My thoughts as well. I mean, it looks cool but the scaffolding...I don't know about that.

So true. This is crap..plain and simple.

I'm dying to see your interpretation of what the entrance should look like! Sketch please?

Depends on which Six Flags you visit. Most are terrible, some are decent. They've gotten significantly better recently, however.

I think most people are looking at the perspective of creativity though. People expect much more from Disney. I could easily see a facade like this at Six Flags.

It's really not garbage at all. It's not great, but you'd never see anything beyond the large TT at any Six Flags. Period. People are focusing in on that, when the new logo at the center and actual entrance are actually pretty cool. And how is it ANY different than anywhere else in Future World? Outside of Imagination, FW entrances have the feel of an Expo, which this fits.

Excluding The Seas with Bratfish and Friends, all pavilion entrances are far superior/ more creative than this.

This is about as simple and pedestrian as it gets.

I'll give you SSE solely for the mural, but the Land? Eh. The tiles are nice, but I wouldn't put it leagues above Test Track. Mission Space? Whether or not it was better, it's totally disgusting now so it doesn't matter. Energy has nothing really going on. I don't think it's really far to talk about the panels since they're part of the actual building. And Innoventions is just cartoony now.

Oh man. I have to disagree with EVERYTHING you just said about Land, Mission: Space, and Energy. All three have so much better entrances/designs than TT.

You're saying that art is just as good as these:

Yea, I gotta disagree. MS is leagues better even if it's not been well kept. I love the energy entrance.

I will agree with you on Innoventions though. It's pretty cartoony now.

No. I'm not.

I'm saying it's not like what they did with Test Track is anything out of the ordinary. None of those are anything more than entrances with a slight tie to what's inside. None of them do anything to advance the story (maybbbbeeeee Mission Space does, but not really.) I'm not saying Test Track's new look is better or even as good as these, but it's not complete garbage.

I think the reason people loathe this connects back to their dislike of the very pavilion itself. It really doesn't do anything to harm the pavilion thematically. It very well could be the set up to an auto show or something like that. Could it be better? Absolutely. Is it garbage/crap? NO.

I honestly feel like the design makes it seem a bit off. It is not butt ugly but I don't like the uneven look it gives. Just the only way I can describe it.

I have to disagree about what is on the outside and the representation of what follows. I feel Mission Space does a great job of this. As much as I don't like the ride and experience inside all that much the facade and design is a really cool look that has a rocket going around an orbiting planet and it is a look of progress and artsy future look. It works. The Universe of Energy has energy colors with a progression perspective effect of the building going into a larger Trapazoid like shape each layer you see. The reflective solar like panels(and the real ones on top) most certainly play into the idea inside.

The new actual facade we can see in the concept art does in fact look like it plays into the idea of what will be reimagined inside, but as far as what is on the Scaffolding, I can see how it seems off.

Test Track's was bad before. It's not like it's really much worse. It actually could be bearable (at night at least) if the "TT" framing illuminates at night.

Here's a photoshop of the concept art WITHOUT the canopy from over at Magic:

The canopy doesn't both me per say, but it's kinda pointless. The rest of the entrance looks really nice actually, unfortunately though, attention is drawn away by the scaffolding and just generally is pointless clutter.

That actually looks really good, looks modern but with a futuristic twist. Much better then with the frame canopy, which makes it look old and cluttered, not to mention really cheap.

Just a side note they also need to clean up the entrance as it also looks cluttered with the blocks, which have names on them, I think.
