Finally rode, posted time was 60, got on in about 40.. Worth the wait but our car got stuck and then no sound for last 3/4 of the ride.. Awesome ride though, can't wait to ride again and hopefully make it all the way through this time

And is it just me or does it smell like a dumpster in the ride? Maybe want it to smell like a city lol

Well considering its June in the late afternoon in the parks of Orlando it very well could of been some of your fellow Nest recruits stinking it up

What was the longest the line got up to tonight?

All right folks, I finally got to ride, & all in time for my 666th post!!! I got there around 5ish, & only waited a short time in the outside queue, maybe about 10-15minutes. ITS FINALLY HAPPENING!!! Wanted to go through stand-by for my 1st ever ride to enjoy the extended detailed indoor queue, looking sweet so far!! So just as I was about to enter the loading room, the line haults for about 10 minutes, & than, the unthinkable happened- "Were experiencing a breif delay, etc etc." I was like "I sure was expecting this! So after about 30 aganozing minutes later, HALLALEUA!!! The breif delay was fixed, phew!!! & to top it off, got front row!!!! I really did enjoy the smell of the buiding interior, & the fresh new rubber seats in the RV!

So, my thaughts, well...

At the current time, I didnt even think Id have to actually think about it, I dont know if I like this better than Spidey or not.

1st issue, screens.

Dont know if its just me, but it seemed like the screens couldve been just a bit brighter. On a brightness scale of 1-10, Id give it an 8.5. I wonder if its because of something that was mentioned by film maker Robert Rodriguez. He said that most theaters run there projection bulbs super low to conserve on bulbs, which was a problem when trying to Exhibit Spy Kids 3D in anaglyoh 3D, as the red & blue glasses made it hard to see on top of the low bulb setting. So since this is a technical rehearsal, which means it can be excused for not running at 100% effectiveness, so I wonder if there doing the same thing, & will in fact increase the brightness on the projectors once its "officially" open.

TF VS. SPIDEY

To add to the "Its similar to Spidey." debate. After riding, its definetely much more DIS similar than what most people would want you to believe. Just the ride profiling is DRASTICALLY different, & now I can say that after riding both. In Spidey, the RV is continually moving on the ride track & never stops. In TF, the RV comes to a complete stop on the ride track almost everytime it moves to another screen & just sits there on the track while the motion base does its thing. Of course, this was probably forced into the design due to lack of space. I could list a whole lot more differences, but will save that for later. Of course, the other obvious difference is...

RV LIFTS

On my 2nd ride, I was actualy able to catch the lift up in action, & boy was I amazed!! This time I was in the 2nd row on the end, so got a perfect view by looking behind me. Now, I thaught the lift was actually slow & lasted about as long as the scene on the screen your facing, but surprised to find out its actually the opposite. Id say it takes 2, MAYBE 3 seconds, & BAM, your on the 2nd floor, amazing!!!! I wouldnt believe it if I didnt see it with my own eyes, & soon I want to catch the lift in action on camera, you just have to see it for yourself!!!

I also saw the ever-mentioned city skyline mural. You dont really have enough time to sit there & see how "Real" it is, as they disguise it real well by blowing fog in front of you so you cant really look at it cleary.

I also noticed also that there is a difference in how/where your vehicle turns when coming in/out of lifts, which you can see by watching multiple POVS of the ride on Youtube. Right before entering the last lift, the screen before that shows Star Scream transform & fly off. Youll notice on videos/ride throughs, that you will either turn right OR left right right before going into the 2nd lift & than after being caught by Bumblebee, again on some videos you will see that right after he catches you, on some the RV goes to the left, on on others the RV will go to the right, & I never wouldve noticed this had I not rode, just more fascinating stuff on the inner workings of the ride. Soon, I will also film multiple ride throughs so I can outline the alternate ride paths.

& had a real nice interaction with a really nice TM, Michael. Was really helpfull & nice while waiting for single rider to open. Than, right before getting on, there he was again- he came right over, & shook my hand congratulating me on getting in via single, hope I see him again so I can say thanks!

Well, there's so much more, but Ill just leave it at that for now. I think Im going to need to ride this thing more times to better determine which I like better- this or Spiderman.

& a BIG thank you to Orlando United for all of your helpfull inside info, as if it wasnt for yall, I wouldve probably came in the mornings being disappointed thinking it wasnt opening for softs that day lol!!!

Your the first person I've seen that's not happy with the screens and projectors. These projectors are the best of any media ride in existence right now and are brighter than TF Hollywood, Spider-Man, DM, FJ and so on. I'm not sure if maybe you had a ride with issues but the projectors are not scaled back and all effects are on and at 100%. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Oh believe me, I DID enjoy it, & Im glad we have it! Im just nit-picking. & Im not saying Im not happy with the screens, heck I dont know, maybe it was just my imgination. It just seemed really dim, in particular during darker scenes. Either way, I'll get used to it. It will definetelly be a fun game of "Which lift will we be going in next." game! Actually, come to think of it, this is another plus over Spiderman- alternate ride paths, so you wont always be able to predict where your vehicle will turn!

After riding Transformers a total of 9 times over the past few days, I can say with great certainty that this is my new favorite ride at the resort. And I know a lot of people are saying this is basically a copy of Spider-Man, but apart from the ride vehicles, I disagree. The action is so much more relentless and in-your-face than Spider-Man that it just feels like a completely different kind of ride IMO. Overall, it's a great addition to Universal and I look forward to riding it a lot this summer. I'll be getting very cozy with the Single Rider queue  .

You think that's bad, you should experience my wife's HS class! It gets so bad that she had to get a doctor's note for a Glade Freshamatic when she was pregnant this time around.

Strange, I feel like there should be more airflow in some scenes. The first Devestator encounter, you don't feel any air until after you are already out of the subway. Also when you're dropping at the end, driving in the third scene, etc.

Definetelly agree there! Wonder if it would be possible to put wind blowers in the actual RVS. We have them in cars (AC), why not advanced RVS??

Wow, I just keep getting more & more fascinated with this ride the more I discover. So after watching more videos, I figured out the split paths before going into the 1st lift, which takes place after the second screen (scene) where Bumbleee rips the head off that animal cat looking Decepticon. For path 1, RV just veers left. For path 2, the RV does a 180, than continues to veer right. So I wonder, is each vehicle only assigned to 1 ride path & can only ride that path, or do all RVS go through both ride paths?

Opened with Murder she Wrote then Hercules and Zena were there. The building has sat empty for what seems like a decade except for one use during HHN's for the house Horror Night Nightmares which featured past icons. It was called SS44 and looked like this

If you see a problem with the ride, report it. It's got it's advantages.

My fellow nerds! I have returned home from a grand day of adventuring! lol

Alright Felipe and I sincerely enjoyed the queue and the ride! Quite honestly the most excited Ive ever been to see a queue in my life haha. The queue was phenomenal and inside holds about 35 minutes of queue when it is a continual flow with some short stops in between. The inside has about 5 different rooms with different queue vids in each. The tv's are immaculate! And yes I was shocked that queue tv's could look that good!

The TM's were fantastic throughout the ride. Overall they seemed to be enjoying themselves and while the crowd was waiting they were out talking to us all and cracking jokes. Really made the time seem to go by faster.

THE RIDE- The first time I got stuck and missed the last 1/4 of the ride with no sound so it put quite a damper on the experience. BUT the second time (with Felipe) we rode straight through with no disruptions. This ride is so fluent in every motion and you can feel EVERY bump, shot, thud, crash, turn, acceleration, brake that this ride has to offer. Yes, it is a lot like spider-man in fact almost identical but the action is so in your face and non-stop that you dont have time to think or even compare. The screens were so clear and beautiful! Everything, I mean everything about this ride was just so well done and so intense. I'm still quite in awe.

Universal really needed this kind of ride and will greatly benefit! Those who say it is a waste of space or was a bad idea because of Spider-man can suck oil because this lives up to the hype.

Does it beat the Mummy for my top spot of rides in the parks? No  but it comes close! Pics coming later!

My phone died in the middle of my last post, I asked the Team Members for a re-ride and they were very friendly and let us right back on, ride is amazing.. And I think u might be right about the smelly "recruits", 2nd ride smelled fine haha.. I never saw higher than 60 posted tonight, but we also did not get there until 8:00.

I'Ve always said this...

I love this ride but its not flawless.
This is what I originally thought

ok... So I rode this twice today.

I will say this....

WAIT FOR THE FRONT.
We rode first thing and were in the middle row... I personally enjoyed the ride much much more when I was in the front.

After my first ride I actually thought... "Well, that was good"...GOOD... Not "WOW", it was really good...

I think the line theming is fine.... I have read people's complaints about this, I only ever lined up internally and I would say the line theming is as good as spidey's.... Although IMO spidey's isn't great.

So let's cut to the chase,

I felt that transformers wasn't/isn't as good as spidey...

Here's why:

It's basically the same ride.. yet not as good.

The scene with the truck driving towards you.. It's here but it's a brick wall not a truck
The scene where a fireball is shot at you... It's in here, yet they use a red and orange light not actual fire.
The falling scene at the end where you are saved last minute... Its here too, yet you don't feel the "oh crap we're falling" like I do in spidey.

The grand rising up part is missing ... To me that makes that falling scene what it is.

The real life sets arent as good as spidey's...
The effects ie wind, heat , water AGAIN aren't as good as spidey's... I found myself thinking "there should be wind here" or "that flame should be real"

Someone said there's a part In between scenes where there appears to just be a picture of a city on the wall..
They're right. It's just a flat photograph on the wall, it feels lazy, it felt like an after thought.

On a more positive note I'm unsure of timings but this felt longer than spidey to me. It may just be that it feels longer but it felt like there were more scenes. I felt myself thinking.."I have been riding this for a while" and that was a really good

Having the transformers battle it out right in front of you is cool as hell.... It feels fast paced and the scenes are so much more full on than spideyy's

I will be delighted to have this in the park, it's an awesome franchise to have and the ride is sill pretty damn good.... It just feels like the not as good sequel.

The kids are gonna love it, the everyday theme park goer is gonna love it, I LOVE it... I just love spidey a lot more...

And they're gonna shift a whole load of toys and merchandise because of it!!

Just my thoughts.
