AWiL and CitW. Liked both the movies and it was cool walking through both. I thought the scares were a little better in AWiL.

Regarding HHN 24, I wouldn't mind a good mix of IPs and original ideas. The one IP I've been praying to receive it's own house is Hellraiser. I can't remember specifically which house, but I do recall a Hellraiser-themed room, Pinhead included, in a house many years ago. With that said, the franchise could use it's own house already. With so many characters(Cenobites), and iconic scenes, I'd imagine a Hellraiser house being scary, and pretty gory. Please!!!

Mike Aiello is currently in the UK. It's very possible that this might not be related to HHN, but it's not out of the realm that it is related as well. So think about that.

Apparently Murdy has met with some for a IP based house as well, so synergy could dictate it coming to UOR. Once more, nothing confirmed just things to think about.

Ooh, I'd have to majorly disagree there. Evil Dead and Cabin in the Woods are new properties done right...very right. Also, I'd consider Silver Screams a modern house rather than a classic (the only 'classics' represented was Phantom of the Opera and arguably Shaun of the Dead...My Bloody Valentine and The Strangers were recent). Chucky was rather lackluster, as was House of Horrors. Yet Wolfman, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Dead Silence were some of the best in HHN history. I'd have to say its about even when it comes to the quality of modern IP houses vs "classic" IP houses...just depends on what the source lends it to and how much work A&D puts into it.

You are correct with Cabin in the Woods my mistake, truly a great house, but Evil Dead regardless that it was based on the newer film is still and old IP anyway you look at it.

Wolfman was a horrible house as well, it had no soul to it, great sets do not = a great house.

There are many ideas in the works. Talks about a certain white mask. It is to soon to look in to rumors as the design part of HHN has just started alot of things can change as we have seen in past years.

Aiello is currently working on entertainment for Diagon Alley. He is either going to the UK for inspiration or meet with JKR. IMO.

Didn't Chef Jayson let slip that he had to go to London to have all is dishes approved this month? I imagine same goes for shows.

Well Evil Dead and American Werewolf in London won I guess.

- - - Updated - - -

Well I think taht the pupet master idea would be preety cool if executed well. He could be up on a stage in the middle of the park actig like he is controlling the scareactors, just like fear did. One more think HHN Japan actually had the puppet master for their icon.

Thanks for the info Hatetofly ... very interesting concept for a new icon. We've been waiting for a new and original icon for years and this has potential. The Prop Master sounds very similar to The Director and I wonder if it will tie into his backstory more. Maybe someone who influenced the Director to take on his role of torturing his victims and capturing them on film. Or ... maybe the Prop Master was influenced by the original icon and he was hired to create the sets for the Director's morbid films. I like the latter scenario better. It would tie a former icon to a new idea, while at the same time bridge the gap from 2003 to 2014 with a cohesive story.

Also ... the Director is a Strengoit and would tie into our ideas of Legendary Truth's investigation into the next Legion of Horror being the Strengoits. How else to begin an investigation than to delve deeper into the backstory of one of HHN's most beloved icons!

And Hatetofly's comment about "Fate" could easily refer to the original icon Fate that was planned for HHN15, but was scrapped for the Terra Queen and the Storyteller. It would most certainly refer to more than a code word at that point. (*Thanks, Chris, for setting my story straight.)

Back to IOA finally?

Solely IoA? No way, not enough capacity.

Dual park event? Seems a good way to maximize Diagon Alley time. Make entrance in IoA, stagger opening of the US parts until 7, gives you a full two hours to cycle through lines at Gringotts (assuming a 5 pm close, of course).

I wasn't implying only IOA as I know it would be a capacity issue. But, Fate would eventually have it where both parks are used again. Rumored for a while now, but it should become reality soon, at least if A&D have their way.

I don't think we'll see it at Islands just yet. In a few years we'll see a dual park but with Aiello's new promotion he might push hard for it.

Looking at rumors posted publicly by other credible people, it does sound like what HTF posted is still going on and hasn't been changed.

Also, house-wise the two things that are being mentioned at the moment is another TWD house, but just a house and nothing else. The other one is a Nightingales Sequel.

Scare zone-wise, the only thing that's been said is a Purge scare zone.

Reguarding a Nightingales sequel, I'm fairly curious where they'll wreck havoc next. Seems like the most fitting location is a place/event with a bunch of mass casualties where one wouldn't notice people are getting picked off by something supernatural/monsterous.
