Ooh, I'd have to majorly disagree there. Evil Dead and Cabin in the Woods are new properties done right...very right. Also, I'd consider Silver Screams a modern house rather than a classic (the only 'classics' represented was Phantom of the Opera and arguably Shaun of the Dead...My Bloody Valentine and The Strangers were recent). Chucky was rather lackluster, as was House of Horrors. Yet Wolfman, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Dead Silence were some of the best in HHN history. I'd have to say its about even when it comes to the quality of modern IP houses vs "classic" IP houses...just depends on what the source lends it to and how much work A&D puts into it.
