Thanks sjago. I wondered if he was mistaking my north-top, south-bottom orientation.

After looking at Jake's pictures, I am completely baffled. I cannot see where there could be an upstairs or elevated area in any of this construction. There are no supports for the ride track. They certainly didn't dig a hole in the ground for a "downstairs".

So, short of the entrance into the show building, I feel completely in the dark once again.

Are you talking about an upstairs besides the main building part? Cause the main building is defiantly tall aniugh for 2 floors. And what kind of track are we talking about here? I'm at the parks right now. I'll stop by kong and try to see if I can get any good pics.

On what appears now to be very very old plans, it lists "underground queue" and displays stairs up to the ride "load" area.

On another note, after looking back and forth from the very old to the actual very new pics, I am wondering if that large hole in the wall that is to the right of the other opening might be the track exit back into load. That the vehicles will exit there having unloaded under cover of that new higher area that juts out from the rectangle of the main tall building.

Yes, I was looking at a different part of the building, as I speculated.....Lots of wild rumors, as usual, on OI today. One of them is 2015 Kong opening.............Anyone know if there are legit changes going on with an opening date?

I mean if the movie is delayed then they could potentially open earlier whenever they finish the ride since they aren't trying to match the opening. Idk. We have no clue if this thing is ahead though... do we?

Ok, a redraw and speculation sorta (I usually don't create such crappy graphics but I am forced to temporarily. I apologize.). Note that the dotted line doesn't show the track curves as I am not sure what they are now per construction changes from previous designs.

pink is queue (partial)
green is beginning of dark ride
orange is dark ride and grand projection
exit from orange is unclear
blue is end show and unload
blue to green and then white next to pink is load

So, this is me trying to reconcile old designs with what we have now. Note that I didn't complete the ride circle to the north and east as it really doesn't matter right now.

I don't see how they can fit a legitimate outdoor section with AA's. Can someone point it out to me?

It is really unclear what you are asking here. Are you asking where or how?

Do forgive me, I would like to know both! From the aerials, the amount of outdoor space seems extremely limited.

It is really limited, tighter than a bugs anus. First, I will assume someone like HTF said that there will be outdoor AA's. That said, if they are outdoors, I assume they will be very simple, like Jungle Cruise or JPRA. I can almost guarantee there will be no fur outdoors. That leaves bugs, people or dinosaurs. Things that can look somewhat plastic.

I see I see. I, for some odd reason, got the impression that there would be huge bug AA's outside. That probably was baseless speculation though. Thanks for the information!

And thank you MaineJeff for the map! Its very helpful!!

I'm curious what those markers are for. Queue? Or nothing?

There are odd trenches dug within the structure. I am not sure what to make of them.

Simply put, that is pretty much it. Will they attempt to hide all of that? Unknown.

Teebin, I think you're load/unload is off. From the design I've seen and the construction photos, that hasn't changed. The dark ride portion also may be smaller, but I don't think it's really eliminated anything on the interior to a large amount, at least that's what I'm hearing.

EDIT: I have a feeling the door you think will be where we exit into the outside portion of the ride will end up being the door to the maintenance bay, but again, that's just an assumption.

Below is my guess with the changes in red, I apologize for my terrible MS Paint edit. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's changed all that much.

Right, I have seen those plans too. I am merely speculating that things have changed since then. We shall see!

True, that could have changed. That part of the building looks spot on for my eye, which is why I assumed it wasn't changing.

This is certainly an...interesting project, to say the least.

JS, look very very closely at the very bottom edge of that old document. Maintenance is in the back of the building. Although it is very blurry, you can reconcile the words "maintenance bay".
