They way the building is framed out inside there are several rooms. None of them seem to be a 200' corridor.

So that free space at the front is mostly for the outdoor part of the ride? So how does one get to the ride, since the entrance is there as well, will they go with that tunnel concept or use a bridge to get to the entrance, or will it just be setup so that the the walkway leading to the entrance does not cross through the outdoor portion?

Teebin, do you think the third room in the long building was cut then? Because that's where Theme Park Insider seemed to imply the Kong AA was.

The Kong AA will be in the PostShow scene 7. This is why more building has been added. Part of the Swamp unload will be indoors, while some will also be outdoors.

Well if the ride vehicles aren't as long as the tram tour there is no need for the screen to be 200 ft long. And are the vehicles going to have a roof? I would guess so since then u could run when it was raining and it will obstruct the fact the screen isn't overhead. Unless they make a tube screen.

I think the ride entrance/exit will be just to the left of Thunder Falls. And the outdoor track will be to the left of that, closer to the Toon Lagoon side.

The existing food stand there now, on the walkway to Jurassic Park from Toon Lagoon, is staying from what I have heard. The outdoor ride track border will come all the way up behind it.

So walking from Toon Lagoon towards JP you will see the top of a huge temple to your left, lots of new trees, maybe a Kong statue and fancy rockwork, the food stand, and then the entrance to the ride on your left and the entrance to JP on your right. (If you enter JP, Thunder Falls restaurant front door is directly on your left after entering the area.)

I'm imagining seeing the jungle edge of Camp Jurassic on the right side of path the whole walk will not change, but the music you hear on the walkway will.

Here are some pictures I took yesterday. Not as cool as the helicopter shots, but some are interesting.

P1010961-1024x768.jpg

I think the opening in the building wall in center of the photo above is where the vehicle will exit the building, directly after the everyone gets on at the load platform inside. And the opening on the left is where it will re-enter show building, presumably through a large gate.

P1010951-1024x768.jpg

Not much as changed with the facade supports.

The structure going on right behind Thunder Falls.

P1010928-1024x768.jpg

Inside the new indoor queue area.

P1010929-1024x768.jpg

Actually already looks like a queue with the yellow tape set-up.

P1010947-1024x768.jpg

It looks to me like there is a lot of space out in front of the building for the outdoor portion. From the walkway the building looks close, but from this angle you can see it's still pretty far back.

I think it's going to only be one scene though, essentially just going out, making a curve, and then entering through the huge gate, but it will be enough to be interesting.

All my pics from yesterday are here in case you wanna see more.

It would make the most business sense for it to be the exact same film. Otherwise, I have no idea and would be impressed if they paid for new footage... if it was good footage.

Wait, why would this make sense? a lot of that footage is based on Peter Jackson's Kong and includes very specific moments from that film, If this ride is based on Skull Island than I'm not sure that makes sense. Plus that footage has a CG version of the Backlot trams in it...

In addition I don't believe the 360 footage from Hollywood is of the same caliber in terms of quality vs what we now see in attractions like Transformers and Gringotts. It has to be all new stuff...

LOL, yeah, what do I know when it comes to this project! I had forgotten that the trams are in the 360 film.

Does anyone know what that basin-looking thing is off to the corner between the building and JP River Adventure?

It is a water return for Jurassic Park: River Adventure. All excess water goes into there, like when it rains, etc.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but if they empty the ride of water, this is also where the water goes? Due to the ride not running on the Lagoon water.

Wow, so this land is basically just the attraction itself. It leaves me to doubt whether it is Kong or just a JP expansion.

1) It's not a land. It's an attraction.

2) It's Kong.

I'm sure it is, but wouldn't it be amazing if we were all duped? All things considered (date of opening, location, etc.) it makes way more sense for this to be a Jurassic World addition. Maybe they just put "Kong" instead of "JP" on all internal communications to throw us off. Imagine the reactions on this board!

Again, I know it's KONG. But I'd give them a high-five if it wasn't. ;)

Robert Niles of TPI had an article a couple of weeks ago. His Universal sources are generally trustworthy and he generally only releases info when he's sure of it (or has been given the OK). He said he's just seen the blueprints and the scene after the huge screens scene include a massive Kong AA. from Niles, "Kong appears on the right side of the ride track as the ride vehicle curves along Kong to their right, allowing a long moment with the Big Ape". So, he's saying you're still in the tram when the Kong AA makes it's appearance. In this scenario, it would clearly be before the riders disembark from the vehicle.
