Soarin' 2.0 is going to be fun.

On a related note, I hear that when all said and done, Pandora will clock-in in the $700-750 mil. range.

Nope. Other than some saying it's kinda short. If I had to guess, I'd say in the 5 min. range.

But it too will be impressive.

Darn it. Was hoping for living with the land length. Boat rides can be pretty slow moving allowing for more time. Short means low capacity and less scenes. Also, means maybe faster and not able to slowly see everything as much.

Yes, I am excited for soaring 2.0 because it sounds like a cool tech.

Soarin looks like fun even if it's the same basic experience. I what DH is referring to is SWL (thanks to his clear Star Wars references). It really looks like it'll be the end all be all, Nintendo is gonna have to really bring it home to compete with it

Just making sure: Are you sure that's Pandora's budget only or does it possibly include things like park improvements, Rivers of Light, etc?

Second Trilogy? Nintendo, Star Wars Land, 3rd gate, DHS phase 3 & 4.

Ep. 1 & 2 were long and boring. It's all been building to Ep. 3. Universal and it's fans shouldn't underestimated what WDI can do when told to "bring the heat".

The second trilogy is where it all gets interesting. Kicking the 800 lb gorilla was easy when he was sleeping.

I heard that Bob Chapek is watching the Imagineering budgets closer than Tom Staggs has done. Did you hear this too?

If he's watching the Imagineering budgets as far as wasteful spending, then that's a great thing. Of course, that also depends on what Bob determines is "wasteful".

Haven't heard anything about that. But I wouldn't be surprised. WDI is about as bloated as an organization can get.

I heard the imagineers have to account for their wasteful spending and the time they spend on certain projects. While Tom Staggs was 'letting it go' more. While I agree with making Imagineering more efficiënt, I don't hope this means more budget cuts for projects.

Someone needs to look at spending across the board. I knew someone in maintenance who said he told his Co workers to clean up the equipment at the end of the day. They didnt, it rained, a bunch of equipment got destroyed. It was no biggie to management. It made him so mad that money was wasted when it didn't need to be.

Well, actually Disney has said earl 2017 fairly recently. So with that in mind, we have just over a year to go.

No one at Disney has said early, just 2017. Just did a search on the Parks Blog.

They are behind and paying more to bring things up to schedule. In some cases, lots more.
