We're impressed with London and Diagon as it is pretty darned close to full scale if not 100%.

The London Facade is not on 100% Scale, it just doesn't quite feel right

What will it be then? I don't want to go in a thread full of Kong lovers when I'm terrified of him lol but from the bits in pieces I've read in other threads it would be a better version of the one in Hollywood but with a Kong AA .

As said perfectly by Skip; the idea of having F&F use the Slot-Car track system in place at RSR and TT would only bring issues to the teams, especially if they would have that track outdoors, the ride would have to close until rain showers, or any other things would be done with.

I believe so. As if I'm not mistaken, RSR; similar tech has to close also when its raining in the day/night hours.

It'd be only natural to guess, that due to possible technical glitches, the ride has to close down during the raintime due to that.

It has screens but tons of physical set peieces and more than just Kong as an animitronic from my understanding. It is also based in an RV type vehicle and no simulator base at all.

So it was raining for a good period of time and it was still running. So it might be heavy rains it shuts down? I would not call what I was in a heavy rain, more moderate.

Also, what is the love with the TT tech? I like TT, don't get me wrong. It is a cool ride, but I don't need more than one TT in Orlando. The tech is just OK. I am not sure what tech I would use for F&F since I have not seen a single one of their films. But I just don't get the fascination with the TT tech.

I always pictured a Kuka type ride system, only larger and with cars attached....but the self guided Kong system is very cool as well..minus speed..

I guess I was expecting for this ride to really hit the thrill button..I'm sure it will be fun and exciting, but I was expecting a practical racing attraction I guess..

I learned today, after badgering and second guessing questions from myself, that nothing has seriously changed at this time. Perhaps there are new cosmetic ideas or screens added, scenes modified, but nothing has basically changed.

Please squash that silly Gringotts vehicle rumor floating around. If something is seriously modified in the future, I will let you know.

There have been wild rumors about this attraction since day 1. I'm hoping it's because everyone that knows about it is embarrassed at how lame the concept is

I mean, obviously they could so much better with something named "fast and furious", but then, maybe this is just not how Universal sees it, because they just want to use Fast and Furious as filler. In other words, Universal does not mean for this attraction to be 'the' attraction. So that's how I think about it (and Fallon) a lesser attraction, and it is in that category that it will stand out
