Perhaps I can boil it down:

1 cup WoC - The full on Water Structure installed, mist fans, colored water lighting, water screens
1/2 Cup OUAT - Projection Mapping on series of selected facades, most likely the ones immediately facing the backside of the main stage from guest view
2 tsp. Wishes - Small element of Pyro, but not enough to close down HE

I would wonder, could they even add a dash of Nighttime Lights, with the Pinecone lighting installed for that show, but now for universal's new show? I think that may be somewhat interesting, and it may help immerse guests further into the show.

Why didn’t they just drain the lagoon and have WET install a little something something.

WET

I think Joe may of been the one to say this, but they may of wanted someone who may of not of been more strict to what they do?

If it would've been WET, we likely would've seen the entire lagoon undergo a dramatic change in the surface beneath the water. And that, it may of required more paperwork than needed.

Just watched that in December during Kennywood's Holiday Celebration. They did it in their 3D plus effects theater, similar to Shrek theater though much smaller. (80 seats). It was a really good show.

That would be very sugary sweet for a universal product. Personally, I hope they would.....

Are the drone rumors still going on?

I sssumed drones weren’t going to happen since Universal hasn’t built a platform for them to launch from.

Also, I haven’t seen anyone post a FAA permit which may/may not be necessary for drones in this show? I know Disney filed a permit for drones, but they also convinced the FAA to make Disney World a no-fly zone; hence, permit to grant an exception for drones.

I’m sure something was being built behind Mummy or F&F which could maybe be used. Hell, if they build a roof on the multi story car park behind the parks, that would work as well.

I don't think drones can pass over guests, so behind/near Richter's would be my guess, if they are going to use any.

I never even noticed Kennywood had a 4D theater

They put it in a few years ago. It's right next to the Pirate ship and the entrance to Phantom's Revenge coaster. It's special effects work pretty good. Terrible capacity though, 240 an hour....New film for this spring/summer, The Lego Movie 4D.....And, if you haven't been there for a while, two years ago they restored Noahs Ark back to it's original version.

That's a good point. They could close the path for 5mins and it would be a great spectacle, made better if they played Flight of the Valkyries as 100s of drones fly over head. Here's the location I meant for anybody curious:

They could also have them takeoff from the F&F roof. Instead of closing the path, they could have a retractable net go over the path for a few minutes at the beginning and end of the show.

Depending on what kind of things the drones were doing, theoretically they could just stay above the show building for F&F. There's no reason they would need to fly over the path at all.

That’s a good point. I wonder if they could temporary close the path for 5mins.

That makes the most sense. Perfect view from across the pond and gives a bigger canvas in the sky.

They could do this for a bunch of the buildings. F&F, Transformers, Mel's, Mummy, and the NY facades that front the lake all could be used for this purpose.

They could close a walkway while they went over and came backas well. So they could technically be above the lake the entire show.

Or just all be on Lombards’ and not allow people on the patio. Then be over the lake the whole time there also w/o closing a walkway.

I for one hope they don’t use drones. 10 years ago, cool, but it is so passé at this point... something commonly used by real estate agents and the like.

I am going to continue to rag on this... I do not see any sizeable water canons at all... none of those that make the big popping sound. Has anyone seen anything that looks like them?

IDK if the Parks missed the drones craze or not. It seemed like a new thing when Disney Springs had them at Christmas 2016. Now, who knows where they are......maybe Epcot for IllumiNations' replacement????

New Fantasyland had a dragon but that lasted only 5 min!

No air-assisted that I can see, however there looks to be some pretty massive linear pumps and wide diameter nozzles out there so I think you're going to see those big and tall jets.

I know other fountain manufacturers have been trying to get away from needing air-assist by using some of the newer pulse drive pump technology. Let's see what we get in this show.
