I heard they were making way for drones a top a building. They would take off over a walkway and would make their way to the lagoon... sound familiar ?

That was a theory. I did hear workers say they were looking for a place to put a booth for the drone behind Richter's, and that's probably what started the drone discussion back up. But that was all I heard about it, and they said "drone," not plural. Who knows what they were talking about though.

Fan conjecture. We have conflicting info on drone usage. I believe that if drones are used, it won't be a fleet of light up drones making things in the sky, but more like a drone flying Delorean.

Maybe a big drone so smaug could take a flight? That would be the best!

Very snail opinion but I don't like how similar the name is to Cinematic Spectacular. Then again, nobody really cared for CineSpec so I doubt Universal is concerned about a confusion being made.

They stripped it off of their website and Facebook pretty quickly. So they do know that it was seen

Aren't most nighttime shows clip shows? I guess Rivers of Life and IllumiNations aren't, but otherwise nearly all of them are. Even the vast majority of Disney fireworks shows are now with the projection mapping. Even Fantasmic is a clip show with live action scenes.

Most nighttime shows have been clip shows. Fantasmic is a clip show but with actors. Clip shows are fine as long as they make sense and arent so rough like UniSpec.

I’m not expecting anything astounding story or concept wise, but I hope this has some neat effects for a night show at the very least, the last one was just projecting on water which was...:shrug: nothing impressive.

I think it's hard for Universal to attempt another type of show...If they do something abstract, people will be scratching their heads...If they do something like Dynomite Nights, it will cost a ton...

It makes sense what they are attempting here
