Passholder Lounge coming to USF

New UOAP mailer confirms that a Passholder Lounge will be opening at Universal Studios.

We believe that is the reason Studio Styles recently closed, and will be replacing that Animated Store.

Good and smart idea. Lounges, such as those in airports or hotels,are a big deal to working millineals. It’s a value proposition.

Only thing not clear is whether it's a temporary deal for the Holiday Season, or permanent. The wording implies it may be a temp deal..

This is much needed for sure, but I feel it would be better to have one in CityWalk, one in Studios, and one in IOA (hello Navigator's Club) so as to spread out people more..We shall see, perhaps they are testing

Yep was going to ask if was mich different, but I think we used the AMEX one like twice

I don't even think Studio Styles is big enough, either. Navigator's Club would be ideal, but even then...there's a lot of Universal APs.

The AMEX Lounge looks like a waiting room at the dentist. The south American guest trashing the place didn't help either when we where there.

I think the small, sparsely decorated space of the AMEX lounge may be that way by design. I don't think they want people getting too comfortable and hanging out in there all day. The design of the AMEX lounge encourages folks to stop in, have a quick place to cool off, grab a light snack (water bottles and granola bars last time I was there), use the restroom, maybe sit down if you can find an available seat, and then get out.

I hope this new passholder lounge is different but I suspect it will be similar.

To get out of the sun mostly. Or get free soda at SeaWorld or Epcot’s DVC Lounge. Soda ain’t cheap after all.

Phone charging in a quiet place out of the sun will likely be the reason I pop into the Universal one.
