I mean, if I'm not mistaken; none of the clues from last year used the same clue. So why use the same one for two houses?

..a thought, what if it's ST, but they're planning on two mazes with the IP.

One of the people who liked this said earlier he had an idea of what it was. I know they've done duel run houses before, but not with a specific IP? So maybe that's what "first" means?

Maybe it’s for 2 houses that share SS21, it’d be the “first” houses that you’d see in the park. One could be ST2 and the other could be HDD2U or Hill House

To expand my thoughts (as I was on break!) on the idea, it could make sense.

Have Season 1 and Sesaon 2 as separate houses in the same building, perhaps SS21; for thought.

Hell, pair it with one of them being open for daytime guests in some capacity, and it could be a major power-play for those wanting the ultimate Stranger Things experience.

Could it also be 11? I was thinking that they might import Hollywood's Blumhouse. I'm hoping that increased number of houses doesn't keep any one house from being great.

Seriously though, I may be talking crazy, but a chaotic outdoor chainlink maze (that's actually a maze) might be a fun and unique addition to a HHN year

On another track regarding speculation:

Stranger Things had an unexpected impact on crowds and lines. Huge. Seemed like people online were saying they hadn't seen anything like that before.

After everyone went home, told all their friends about it, and Stranger Things is coming back this year, any predictions on crowds?

I suspect word of mouth from the ST fans taking to friends will bring in even more than just the increase we saw last year. How much more? No idea, but if ST bumped attendance by X%, I would think 2019 will enjoy the same bump, but with a little extra .

What do you guys think?

I scared for HHN in 2002 and 2010, and technically was cast as an Active Back-up in 2011 but never scared that year (I was also cast in 2003, but had to back out). I've made a lot friends. Some are fans with access to information through their own sources. Some are my own friends scattered throughout various departments at Universal. It's made me a bit of an information broker - especially in regards to HHN and Entertainment type stuff (though I can occasionally get attraction based stuff).

I don’t think that’s what it is, I just think it’s interestimg that both clues can point to the Shining. Maybe if there’s a movie similar to the Shining anyone can think of? Or even maybe it just hints at Stephen King.

The episode that the first GIF is in is on the first episode of S2 of Rick and Morty. Maybe it’s ST2, with the two houses being a repeat of ST1 as a budget house and the other being ST2.

Or if that’s not it maybe ST2 for Clue 1 and Hill House for Clue 2 since that’s how the first episode opens

I expect a similar increase or even more. With Endless opening and the Potter coaster opening, the resort will be packed.

I am totally stumped by those clues. They could be anything! I keep coming back to series/movies that aren't within the 'Horror' genre like 'Travelers' or Arq, since those are very much a time-related series/movie but I seriously doubt those are either of the houses. As for the hints of "First" that could mean anything from the First movie or season or even episode in a series, or the first time HHN has done this series/franchise, or we're all wrong and HHN is taking a completely new direction and it's actually a house based on the famous skit Who's on First.
