Not all cyberpunk is hyper-futuristic and neon, to be fair. Films like The Matrix, Snowpiercer seem to technically be cyberpunk as well. Cyberpunk is more of a general theme of "high tech, low life".

I don’t like the idea of “prison camps.” That’s a little too real world horrible/unjust. Do we think the Cyberpunk motif is enough to steer the concept into a more fantastical horror aesthetic?

I agree but we should wait till we see the final concept. We all heard of the plastic surgery scare zone and some thought that could be insensitive but instead we got Vanity Ball.

Does anyone know if the truck is a real drivable truck or is it just a prop? Looks like a cool little thing.
Dang, that is a very nice repurposing of the temporary Raptor Encounter gate! Also, is this the most dressed NY zone? I can't really recall the last time that area had that many props/structures.

It's a real truck...don't know if this particular one is still in driving condition, but I'd assume so unless they removed the motor as they're virtually indestructible.

Ominous propaganda posters, Prison camp, Military feel, etc. Seems like they are going for a ripoff Purge zone here with what The Purge is based on at it's very core.
I'm getting more of a They Live vibe with the alien aspect and the not-so-subliminal messages about being controlled. I hope one of the "human" scareactors is wearing a blonde mullet wig, sunglasses, and a blue flannel shirt as a nod to that 
I am genuinely so hyped for this zone.
Love dystopian 80s type things and I'm so hyped to see the alien designs.
Hoping they go for a more kind of minimalistic oppressive vibe sorta similar to Half Life 2.
Probably not, but it's cool to think about.
