Also, I love the Thanos-like question that they pose to the viewers of who is right? IS it better to leave everything alone, let actions play out, and deal with consequences later, or is the way the Arthur Harrow, who subscribes to Ammit's way of doing things (by persecuting before they can do bad things) the better way?

It's interesting to think about as a theoretical. If you could prevent all the bad from happening, then we'd be living in a much better world. Everything would be changed. By killing people before they can do anything bad and killing them early, you're preventing so many people from meeting each other and really changing the course of the world drastically.

Also, theory on Konshu is that he is sort of an extension of Arthur and that's why he is haunting Steven with it. Could be wrong on this but something is definitely amiss with Konshu and Arthur seems to know way too much about him. I get he says he was his previous Avatar, but are we supposed to accept that as 100% fact because the cult leader/villain told us?

I wonder if the scales are to judge your soul or power within and those who have extra are deemed "evil" when really its this god stealing life energy to keep itself alive and power its followers

I've thoroughly enjoyed the last two episodes. I'm a huge fan of Egyptian history/culture/mythology and I love that this is so deeply rooted in it. Some of these Konshu scenes (the storage building) were legitimately intense. I appreciate the representation of D.I.D. in the series and hope they don't turn it into something more than it should be (looking at you Split). The CGI is lacking, though; especially in the chase scene in ep.1. Other than that, thoroughly enjoying it so far.

Ha! I cannot believe, and love!, that Mr. Knight was introduced already!

In the comics, he (it) is relatively new. Crazy, and awesome.

I feel like in the end, i'm gonna have to binge this show in full in one or two sittings as I feel like that will be a much better way to watch and understand this show.

This show seems to play sort of like WandaVision in a way with how it's a better show on it's own as a binge, but with the mystery element, it plays well as a week-to-week show with the theory's and such.

Caught up to the second episode, and I felt it was another good one. It showed us a lil more of the main characters, added some nice moral dilemmas/questions, and some seriously freaky (Konshu in the storage facility), and gorgeous shots such as the final one. I've noticed several folks point out that shot of Egypt looked better than anything you saw in Death of the Nile.

Something that was also pointed out was it feels like Moon Knight is actually structured episodically with individual arcs, instead of one long movie split into chunks. I definitely appreciate that since that's how it should be for any story written for TV, especially one with a once-a-week release.

Soooo.... something interesting was pointed out by John Campea. It seems like there's a third personality that we still haven't met. It's something that wouldn't come as surprising as a third personalty, Jake Lockley, is in the comics.

That said, the theory behind this comes from the date that Steven didn't know he had. If Steven didn't ask the woman out on a date, what makes us think that Marc did? Marc seems pretty committed to Layla and protecting her, so it would be odd if he had asked that woman out.

That leaves the possibility that there's a third personality that asked her out. Possibly Jake OR possibly a name that has been mentioned a few times by the security guy - Scottie.

Also, keep an eye on another person hiding plain sight - Steven's friend, The Living Statue. He has a comics background that i'm pretty sure will play into this in some way/shape/form.

Surprised no one has commented on this episode. Thought this episode really had a great Indiana Jones/National Treasure feel to it, more and more Konshu, and further examination of Marc and Steven. I really enjoy that Steven is keeping the Mr. Knight suit as his suit (for now) to differentiate them in battle when they are in their suits. Thought the action was some of the best in a MCU series episode so far. For an episode with such great action though, the most interesting thing by far was a look at the other Gods (although it was undercut by poor logic dialogue during that scene).

They did do some hinting towards a third personality, although I think it that third personality could just be Konshu. Marc has suppressed Steven and followed the orders of Konshu long enough where I think he is the broken one, but Steven seems to have his stuff together enough (at least from an ethical and moral perspective) to where he'd never try to hurt anyone. Steven's personality needs to harness the Moon Knight suit as I think he could control it and have the strength to avoid listening to Konshu.

That shot of Egypt literally looked better than most of the money shots in Death on the Nile, which was set in Egypt.

I think Death on the Nile was all CGI and that didn't look great but it played in the past.
This show was going for current day Egypt and man it looks bad if you have ever been there. Even the blurry backgrounds didn't do Cairo justice and you never could hear Egypt in the sound design (everyone who has ever been there knows exactly what I mean.
That said, episode 3 lost me. I loved the firs episode, the second one was okay but this just couldn't entertain me. The set of the inside of the pyramid made me laugh out loud, sure it's not trying to be correct but this design was hilariously bad.

You know what this episode reminded me of? Not even in a bad sense, but Eternals. The supernatural elements that was prominent alongside the implications featured with the council.

As far as the episode itself, I really liked it. I do wish Layla and Marc's issues get better resolved, but I don't think it's that much of a turnoff; but this was Oscar Issac's episode. The ability to flip a switch as easy as he did with Marc, Steven, and Khonshu; is some of the best that the MCU's had so-far.

A lot of that is because they didn't get to film in Egypt like originally planned to be able to film present-day Cairo. Something about permits not going through for filming because of COVID? Mohammad Diab (who directs 4 of the 6 episodes) had said he hoped to recreate present day Cairo the best he could and they even went to Egypt for a few a bit to scout out the location. Obviously it didn't work out, but I like that there was at least effort put in despite not being able to film in Egypt.

I will say, Episode 3 gave me some MAJOR 2019 Aladdin vibes, and it was very hard to get that thought out of my head as I was watching as the chase scene seemed like something straight from that live action Aladdin project.

The MCU has always remained very grounded, even through all the Thanos stuff and having groups of superpowered individuals, but I think as you said with The Eternals, the MCU going into what has traditionally been more DC type territory with Gods, supernatural stuff, etc, this weirdly is a straw that finally risks the MCU from becoming more "fantastical" and something that's more unbelievable.

Weakest of the three for me, but no a bad episode, just ... less good. The show lives or dies on Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hunt, and they still managed to hold my attention.

Not really great show. just feels like a Mummy/National Treasure FX show. Disney keeps making this crap because people will watch it but sometimes it's quality over quantity. Disclaimer: not an MCU fanboy FWIW

I tend to agree, I'm actually finding it a bit boring in places and every time Oscar Isac does that horendous London accent it totally takes me out of the moment.

See, this is actually my favorite MCU show at this point in the series. However, I do tend to agree that with 4 movies per year and now 4 shows or so per year, there's just... a lot. Too much, really.

I'm loving it but this last one was odd.

I mean, we all know who the third personality is from the comics. Would be an interesting re-watch, filling in the gaps with him.

Neat practical fight scenes! Although, I have to admit, I loved the ones in the 1st ep where he blinks out, comes to, and everyone is down. That was awesome.

Pyramid scene was weird. Have "we", our species, IRL, been up to the top inside? It can't look like that, can it?

I do get chills whenever the costume shows up though!

In the end, I love the Raiders and Mummy, vibe. My wife even commented that Dis can do a Mummy ride now!

I think this would probably be a much better binge watch than week-to-week.

I've been in the pyramid of Cheops (the big one) and most rooms are square. There are small hallways going diagonal and one is a bit tapered.
Above that the stones that are used in the pyramid are much bigger than in the set and there are no statues or hieroglyphs in the pyramid (you can find these in graves and the idea of the pyramid being a grave is probably wrong). And no, there is no room in the top. Maybe there are more hidden rooms in the building but nothing like this, it's pure fantasy.

Marc goes to Universal for the thrills, Steven is a wuss but he uses his encyclopedic knowledge of the parks to have a good time, Jake Lockley smokes a blunt and rampages through Six Flags like a teenager because he doesn't give a f***.
