as I've said previously. Though I'd love a live show in the Monsters Land, it's termination is probably the best move. Universal Florida has a really bad track record keeping large theaters open. With Live
Theater areas in Potter & Dragons, two shows is probably the max they'd keep running. If there were three large theaters, like in the original plans, at least one would probably be shut down within a year or two.
Then we'd be stuck with an empty place with no attraction. Plus, Universal writers have a bad habit of writing too much corn into their large theater shows, another reason for their quick disappearance.

Some ideas from Bourne with the Monsters would have been interesting

But knowing their tendencies with shows, I would be a bit concerned

Coasters are an easy win tbh

The other issue with stage shows is that when the venue is exiting suddenly hundreds of people are flooding the narrow pathways.

The Blues Brothers, Celestina Warbeck, etc. are the model that makes the most sense. It's a great way to keep non-riders entertained while they wait for riders to come off attractions as well as offering more atmosphere and life to the lands they're in.

I think the HTTYD show will be Universal's most popular show ever.....I definitely see that one having staying power. I think that they also made the right decision with the 2nd show in WW rather than Monsters. The WW show has a much better chance of being a popular and successful longterm show IMO. And if we are thinking trade-offs....I'd much rather have a Monster coaster than a Potter VR ride.

Looks like a Twist n Splash sans water cannons with the whole solar system spinning above you.

If it's close to that concept art, that is pretty classy. Pretty classy indeed. Would look fantastic at night.

Might just be a pretty little show as you ride around on boats, I bet the score will be great for this.

Also, with the fireworks in the background at night this is a great way to spend time after dinner.

I triple checked and the carousel is happening this was just “a concept”. Hey maybe they’re adding ANOTHER ride to the hub?

I kinda hope so, but I recently was informed the fancy carousel wasn’t happening anymore. Which sparked my recent update.

Hopefully they build some recognizable parts first before the roof blocks our view so we can figure it out soon!

I figured if there was a change it would have been relatively recently. But all engineering and such are a go. Hmmmmm

Just cause I heard about it recently doesn’t mean I mean it happened recently.

I wonder if any of the permits for that hub ride have been changed. I seem to remember at least one permit describing the mechanics underneath the ride (something something acid). Unless they can swap out similar rides without updating the permits.

It described a “ride pit” with a “chlorine room” and that was awhile ago too.

Oh, and a hydraulic lift too.

I really like the Alien Swirling Saucer type rides (as filler of course)...

The Twist n Splash's are also quite entertaining
