I was watching Extreme Machines on the Travel Channel last night and would love for BG to bring a wing coaster to Tampa.

I'm hoping that the wing coaster goes to SeaWorld instead of Busch. I mean either way you can't lose but I'm hoping for Florida's first air time filled Hypercoaster.

I second that! Although I wouldn't argue if they went and put a hyper in Sea World

Oh neither would I, as a matter of fact if anybody builds a freaking Intamin airtime machine in central Florida they've got my business.

It's a win win situation for me since I have passes to both parks. I do visit BG just a little more since it's closer to home.
Manta is one of my favorite coasters. I just like that it's a totally different experience that doesn't necessarily involve huge drops. The older I get - the harder those drops are on me

First time riding the Hulk I was 19 and loved it.

I still love it, but a few years later now and I almost pass out after the launch/drop.

After experiencing my first wing coaster (Gatekeeper) this past weekend I honestly have to say I wasn't really "wowed." I mean, it was an enjoyable ride, and a good addition to Cedar Point, but for a park like BG that already has plenty of inversion-based coasters I just don't see it being a good fit. Now, I would be interested what they could do with the concept if they went for the more terrain/scenery based route ala Raptor at Gardaland.

My blue sky dream for the next coaster: take down Gwazi and replace it with an Intamin hyper-lite (something like a smaller version of Intimidator 305's layout). That would give us Florida a hyper, plus a good ejector-air type coaster.

An inversion laden park like BGT needs a air time machine. Also changing the title of this thread as it seems all BGT projects were pushed back one year.

I've actually come at peace with Gwazi's possible removal. While I am one of the few who like Gwazi and want to see an RMC Iron Horse conversion, I would welcome it's removal if, in exchange, we get an insane airtime machine (from B&M or Intamin). It can be a hyper, a giga, or even a mega-lite, as long as there are no inversions. If they can pull this off, I'll be happy.

Also, after riding El Toro (SFGAdv) last summer, I would love to see an Intamin Plug 'n Play be added in the future to substitute Gwazi as BGT's wooden coaster.

For the life of me I cannot understand why someone, I mean anyone hasn't built an Intamin prefab in the US since Great Adventure with El Toro over 7 years ago. Of all the prefabs they've built, only 4 mind you in over a decade. All have reached #1 Wooden Rollercoaster in the world at some point. I know there maintenance costs are substantially lower then that of a GCI or Gravity Group creation as they advertise it as there main selling point to parks. The only thing I can think of is the initial cost must be huge on these things, like approaching steel coaster costs.

Wild Eagle at Dollywood was unimpressive as well, compared to rides at BGT, at least for me.

Like HTF said an air machine is what we need.

I have heard that all the Wingriders are "nice", but not very impressive. And for a coaster enthusiast, they are borderline boring. But I think they can easily themed and fits with SeaWorld's demo better. BGT should get a Hyper+.

I agree. Although I didn't have a chance to ride it this past week(high winds), GK looked unimpressive and seemed to go through its elements painfully slow. Busch has a pretty good collection of B&M coasters, so I would love to see something similar to Intimidator 305. Something at least 275 ft., 80+ mph, and lots of airtime. An Intamin Giga would be a marketing dream for Busch and quite frankly this world needs more of them.

I can't say I'd be unhappy with that. Safe investment, enjoyable for both enthusiasts and gp, and a time-tested design. In fact, I've always like the idea of putting one in the back of the park, with a nice big helix set over the retention pond behind Kumba. I won't get my hopes up.
