It would be hard for me to say, I go early and leave early, but I saw them at 90-120 for HOS.

Over Spring Break it was about 60-90, busy days but not quite peak 40-50, weekends about 15-30, and non peak weekdays 5-15.

I went to the first night of Christmas Town and it was walk-on all night. I took FULL advantage of that opportunity. The last few times I went to BGT during the day it hovered around 30 min; all Sundays I'm pretty sure.

The first couple Christmas Towns weren't very busy. But word of mouth spread VERY quickly. A huge amount of people were talking about it within a one hour radius of Tampa. My mom told me every time she heard about it. THe night I went to Christmas Town Cheetah Hunt was about 75 minutes.

Thanks for the welcome and yes I am from VA (but don't live there anymore)! I suggested a B&M giga because BGT already has Sheikra at 200ft. Why not go the extra length, knock the ball out the park and go 300 ft. That combined with BGTs impressive theming (while not Potter), the ride will be enough of a draw for years. Definitely Stand out attraction that will be enough of a distinction from Sheikra based on its 300 ft height.

It's all about the surrounding neighborhood...personally I would love to see BGT's take on a Giga coaster, the majority of them are all about the first drop and that's it I feel.

I definitely agree with this. While I still rather they take out Rhino Rally for expansion with a new land/giga coaster, I guess I'll be okay with Gwazi leaving, as long as the replacement is worthwhile, like a giga coaster (B&M or Intamin). Florida is in desperate need of a hyper/giga!

There is no confirmation that they are or are not removing Gwazi. The rumors are based on the current condition of the coaster, the lack of progress towards repairing it, removal of coaster trains, and a few comments from staff members.

I haven't ridden Gwazi in many years... but weren't the RV seats really small and cramped? If so, keep them away from White Lightning, please!

I would be a 200Ft B&M hyper at seaworld... or a 200ft wind rider/hyper at sea world orlando and put the giga at BGT. Putting a 200ft hyper at BGT would not only leave SWO with less of unique concept for the orlando area... they'd have to do a 200 ft wind rider or something to distinctive. Or go with Mack for a hyper!

I have a theory. Ik that this thread is old but hear me out. In 2011, BGT opened Cheetah Hunt. Sometime last year, SWSD opened up their manta, which is entirely similar to Chertah Hunt. So maybe the coaster fir 2014 could be a flying coaster, like manta in Orlando.

Similar in what ways? Cheetah Hunt is a launch coaster, while Manta isn't. You're sitting up on Cheetah Hunt, while on Manta you're lying down. I would know, I've been on it :P

Oh, and P.S., I'm just messin' with ya'

Unfortunately, I believe that the area of Tampa Bay that Busch Gardens is located prohibits any structures taller than 200 feet, meaning Sheikra is the tallest coaster you're ever going to see at BGT.
