When so much of the film is crafted so superbly, from the characters to the actors to the scenery to the music to the atmosphere to the laughs to the scares to the gross outs to the heart turners to the overall bonkers nature, I'm not that perturbed by the story being sightly overstuffed and the ending being just fine (I don't even think it's that bad, it highlights every character and gives them a fun or memorable send off, about what I'd expect from a Beetlejuice sequel tbh).
There were so, so, soooo many ways this could have been such a supremely awful mess of a long waited, much anticipated IP sequel to Beetlejuice that what we did get being as genuine and just outright REAL as it is, especially in the modern landscape of Hollywood and film is nothing short of a wonder.
