Not announced, but I would bet they will go in just under Disneys All Stars, just my hunch.

3 Floors already!

And yeah, I would guess anywhere from $100 to $150. Probably more towards $150 (or higher) in peak season, more towards $100 in the quieter months.

There's no way it'll be that cheap. This will be more moderate than value. Look at Art of Animation for a price point.

I hope these buildings don't intrude on IOA. I was really turned off by the high-rise hotel images posted from Japan's US.

I know what you mean, you seem to be able to see the contemporary resort from more and more places in the MK these day, it just looks wrong.

I thinking more $200.00 and up, with the exception of RPR, Loews hotels rarely get much below $200.00. And thats for a 375sf room.

I'm still more interested in how they are going to get all these people to the parks during peak hours. It's sad to think they are going with larger buses. When I was a kid, Disney had the same setup. 2 Hotels and a campground that let you boat or monorail to the MK. Then the moderate resorts were built with bus service. Next we will need a third park that is only accessible via bus. Eerily familiar.
Disney grew too quickly, too haphazardly, and now cannot maintain all of their growth. They were too much in a rush to build that they started ignoring thoughtful master planning.

Still can just need an AP discount  While I'm in the waiting room and bored out of my mind I did a quick look into next weeks rates for a few hotels. There a bargain with what you get compared to Disneys.

Portofino 244 Night
Royal Pacific 201 Night
Wilderness Lodge 356 Night
Disney Key West 327 Night
Fort Wilderness Campground 286 Night
Disney Coronado 167 Night
Disney Port Orleans 175 Night
Saratoga Springs 327 Night
Boardwalk 519 Night
Animal Kingdom Kidani Villas 443 Night

Loews is light years ahead of any Disney Deluxe resort in its standards, operations, and facility quality. Its not even funny how far ahead even RPR is from the Grand Floridian or Contemporary.

Those prices show what a value it is giving Loews/Universal the business they deserve.

RPR is $144.00 on weeknights heading into spring break, and Universal is also pushing buy x get 1 night free promotions. If you play around its easy to find a deal that works. It's Saturdays that hurt the budget.

I just scored 4 nights at Boardwalk in early December for $167 a night, including a Saturday night, going thru someone who I am renting DVC points from. I just got the confirmation email 5 min ago

Yup. Renting DVC points is the real "Best Kept Secret" for WDW.

You have to plan early. DVC members can reserve their home resorts I think 11 months in advance but have to wait until the 7 month mark to book at another resort and the cheaper studios rooms go by fast. I was lucky and able to find a lady who had points available at $11 each. You can find some great deals with some planning and a little research.

If you can luck out on timing, Boardwalk can be very easy to get a studio with a standard view through renting points. Find a member renting at $10/pt, and you can get a studio (larger than standard room) at 11 points a night. So $110.00/night incl tax. This would be for Sunday - Thursday. It is the best way to stay at the Epcot Resorts, outside of a seasonal promotion rate at Dolphin to their mailing list.
