To be fair a one night stay at a Universal Hotel does get you 2 days of early entry (and express at the deluxe hotels). Its just up to you to get up and going early if you want to make it on your check in day.

Yes and no. Not every park has EE every day but all resort guests all go to the same park, not split up between the different parks.

I think the alternating could work pretty well, but it could lead to visitor confusion and ire because you wouldn't be able to ride HE.

If they keep building hotels and adding occupancy they will need another gate to accomodate all the EE guests, either that or offer hotels without that perk or worse, any perks at all :shrug:

^ Isn't that sometimes the case anyway? I don't really know the details of the usual deal to be honest, but when I was last around back in August we had Wizarding World in IOA, and Transformers and Minion Mayhem in USF. Or did you mean all of both parks?

We're staying at Cabana Bay this weekend so I took a few photos of the bridge construction.

First, here's the empty plot of land with not much going on:

Here's the bridge construction. They've already got the sidewalk leading up to it built and labeled.

Also the top waterfall at the pool no longer works.

With the new Google Earth pictures the size of the lazy river is easily visible if anyone is interested.

Compare it to the cars that you can also see on the pic, or even the building. I think it's a pretty good size.

I heard a nasty rumor that the Cabana Bay guests will only have early admission to Hogsmead and not Diagon Alley. Is this true? I don't think CB guests should be punished and other on-site guests get rewarded with EA to DA just because they spent more money on their hotel room.

To start with nothing has been announced so the "nasty" rumor is just that, a rumor made up by someone going "but what if...".

As far as CBBR guests being "punished" I'm pretty sure no matter how you spin it early access to any section of either park is a perk not a punishment.

And even pretending there were a shred of truth to this rumor the other hotel guests being "rewarded with EA to DA just because they spent more money on their hotel room". That's kinda how the whole system works, you spend more money for nicer things. If the things weren't nicer you wouldn't spend more money on them.

Have they fixed the neon on the Americana wing's sign (the tower on the RPR side)? That has been driving me nuts for a few weeks now, with the neon being out.

I got to visit CBBR this weekend and I was VERY impressed! The place looks amazing! It's beautiful and also everything seems very convenient and really nicely laid out. I'm really looking forward to staying once the wing with the lazy river opens. BTW, also took the buses from UOR to the hotel and back, and thought the buses were nice, and the seats actually very comfortable. From what I've seen of the resort, I think this is gonna rank as my second favorite on-site property right after Royal Pacific, but I'll have a final verdict on that after I actually stay at the resort. :thumbs:
