Nicely themed, but it appears to be fairly low capacity. Is there more than one section?

No, it's just a Carousel. But a surprisingly good Carousel. It fits Celestial Park perfectly.

Kennywood's' is ancient but beautiful, and it has a very large capacity. Even so, the line gets pretty long at times. ....If that's all there is , what's in the short video, and it is very beautiful, I can see pretty long lines when the park is busy. Seuss Carousel seems to have higher capacity than Celestial's, if that's the only section. .

Just curious, when walking around celestial yesterday I saw the building between berk and the Christmas shop that looks completed on the outside but definitely work being done on the inside, is it the rumored Mexican restaurant?

It’s half Italian/Mexican and it’s considered Phase 2.

I love a good carousel! There’s room for all of them.

Kennywood’s Grand Carousel is almost 100 years old. The wooden horses are hand-carved. It even has a 1916 Wurlitzer Military Band Organ. It’s an American classic made out of giant gears and support rods that hang from a center pole.

The Constellation Carousel is spiritually similar, but the animals move independently, and the lighting package is more intricate. It almost seems like it was made to be seen at night.

I think that every park should have their own unique carousel to show us what their park is all about.

I just want to say, after doing a rollercoaster tour of Orlando (me and my dad went to Epic, Magic Kingdom and Islands of Adventure in the span of a day) and riding some classic coasters again after doing Stardust Racers... Stardust Racers is now my favorite rollercoaster. I was kinda sad riding Velocicoaster again. Don't get me wrong it's phenomenal. Still one of the greatest rollercoasters out there. But I thought I would walk away from it still as my #1 coaster. Stardust takes that spot now. It's SOOOOO good. The music especially helps. It gives me chills every time it's beautiful. I can't imagine how wonderful this ride will be at night-time!!!!

Having seen video footage of the fountain area infront of Helios... its much larger than I expected & doesn't even look like it's inside a theme park.

I went through the same thing! Veloci's second launch feels more tame now. I still enjoy the ride but Stardust takes my #1 spot.

I'm going to be a little sad when there isn't something notably new to experience every time I go. Every few days to a week some new shop, restaurant, or ride has opened or new decorative item installed and it won't be like that come grand opening. I'm totally spoiled right now.

Well you do have the Phase 2 restaurant that’s yet to open plus I’m sure they will be changing some things as time goes on.

I’m blown away !!!

It’s definitely giving me 90s Disney type theming.

That’s a compliment.

The score is stunning. Actually, the music all over the park is a huge win. I hope they release an Epic Universe soundtrack.

OK, the absolutely funniest thing that I noticed so far is how Universal Creative used the Orlando Eye in the approach to the Chronos. It actually looks like it's part of the park.

HOT TAKE:

The Plastered Owl DESERVES a show in Celestial Park.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it is a bar in the Oak and Star Tavern that has wall carvings of the Plastered Owl and his friends, The Dapper Deer, Rambling Raccoon, and the Witty Wolf.

I’ve seen some videos of it, and to my perspective, it looks kinda… well, not too…. Idk.

There is, however, some stage-like area inside, which I thought that it could be used for a show.

When I first heard of the Plastered Owl bar, I was hoping for there to be some interactive puppet show(a la Pizza Time Theater, Munch’s Make Believe Band, Vol at Volcano Bay). That’d be a GREAT way to know its’ characters and lore of Celestial more.

I’m also kind of a fan of talking animals(not all of them), so they could be my comfort characters.

But that’d be way too beyond.

Yeah, this might be weird but I say that there should be LOTS of interactive characters(and shows) in Celestial Park, and I’m upset that Universal cut them.

Captain Cacao is popular, and I accept that, but what about the Owl and his friends? I think the characters have potential to go BEYOND stardom.

What do you think? Should the Plastered Owl have a show?

My hot take: Give Captain Cacao and his friend (Maya?) a "flying" indoor dark ride a la Peter Pan/E.T. and make it Celestial Park's 3rd ride.

The stage at Oak & Star is nowhere large enough to host any kind of show.

A 3 piece band would go great in that space
