I tried to recreate the firgure 8 element on no limits and it was very difficult to do. I had to have the launch at almost a perfect speed to maintain safe g-forces since the accent up is so steep and the initial turn into the figure eight pulls some high negative and positive g's. It just proves how unique and intense this element really is.

How is Busch managing the animals on the veldt since they have had constant construction going on? I haven't heard that mentioned, and they're obviously not roaming around the trenches. Have temporary fences been constructed anywhere to keep them out?

The trenches are in front of where the animals are kept on the veldt.

A new update from SeaWorld Parks Blog:

It's been a couple of weeks since our last construction update on Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Curious how it's going? Well, let us take you on yet another visual sneak peek.

Imagine, if you will, that you're opening the gate of the big, yellow construction wall surrounding the site. Creeeak....(Yes, that's the sound of the gate opening.)

Ok, so here we are... Welcome and behold!

The tower has suddenly appeared on the skyline. It happened so quickly, even we here at the park could hardly believe it.

The view from the the ground...can you imagine the view from the top?!

That's all for now, friends. We are so excited for the opening of Cheetah Hunt in spring 2011. How about you?

This is looking awesome.
I doubt they did anything at all yesterday, as far as the coaster track anyway, so hopefully there should be some more track updates tonight or tomorrow. My plan is to check it out Friday when it warms up a bit.
