After watching these two clips we can definitely confirm its some sort of blitz coaster. If there are any drops, I doubt they will be over 90 ft. It's kind of weird though that intamin is using harness restraints when it doesn't seem to go upside down. You usually only see this sort of thing on taller coasters like I-305 or Kingda Ka

I believe that the coaster will have a few inversions in it, the first video ends with what looks like a corkscrew.

They're probably saving the ride clips with the inversions for last, if there are any.

Gettin back in the game here... it appears that the first video is the "out" part of the coaster while the second video is the "return" part. What some think is an inversion at the end of the first video appears to be the turn around into the "return" (video 2) section. You can see elements that match up, the big rock (looks kinda like a small volcano), and the big drop in the second video is actually what you go over at the beginning of the first video.

That said, I'm thinking somethings aren't looking right here...

You can pretty obviously match up what you see in the video to the plans leaked earlier (shown below), until you get to the rhino rally water finale. The trench with the cool crossovers (as shown in the videos) right in the middle being my guide point here, you can see that leading into the rhino rally section, in the plans the track crosses back over the "out" and "return" sections of track. This is not illustrated in the video.

So what happened to the back section? Perhaps it's just not in this render... yah, sure, right.

Yea! I looked at the design and the videos.. over and over and this is what i got!! And took me like 30 min to figure this out.. maybe cause im 16 but oh well!
I don't know if anyone cares but i thought i would do it since i have nothing else to do.. or if someone was lost on where the coaster was..!

So! Basically, I COLOR CODED the areas so u can know what is what! We haven't even reached the rhino rally area so this ride seem pretty AWESOME already!:happy: hopefully my guesses are right to as where we are! :look:

No doubt that the twists and turns will be fast. I went up to ride I-305 on opening weekend, its transitions were absolutely unreal before they added the trim brakes to the first drop. Tim, just because a coaster is taller doesn't necessarily require that it have OTS restraints. Both Millennium Force (300 feet) and Top Thrill Dragster (400 feet) have the old style Intamin lapbars. After Intamin had a string of accidents that resulted in people being ejected from their rides, these restraints made their first appearances.

With that said, Kings Dominion modified the restraints on I-305 midway through the season. Instead of the hard foam OTS restraints with the lapbar, they were replaced with soft over the shoulder straps and lapbar. I didn't have a problem with the original restraints, but know a lot of people that got boxed in the neck pretty good from them. I haven't ridden since the new restraints were installed, but I understand that it made HUGE improvements to the overall ride.....hopefully this is what the coaster at BGT gets.

2011 - New Coaster / Cheetaka - Semi-Confirmed - (9/21/10) BGT has released the clue for the second video clip of the new coaster, which seems to show the same basic area as the first video, just on the return trip back to the station area. Near the final frame you can also make out what looks like a large towering section of track through the trees beyond the station building. The password for the second clip is RUSH at the BuschGardens2011.com website.

Anyone else noticed that?

yes! that is located about 50-75 feet away from the nairobi gate i believe a dip N dots ODv cart is in the spot where the tower will go ^

I see something that looks like a tower as well. Must be in that straight segment of track beyond the station but now I don't understand the layout.

Next Monday. I'm pretty sure they will release one every Monday for the remaining 4 weeks until they finally make the big announcement.

Are you sure they'll announce it in the middle of HoS? If my calculations are correct, we have:
Clip 3 - 9/27
Clip 4 - 10/4
Clip 5 - 10/11

If they annouce it the following week then it'd be October 18th - 22nd, when HoS is still going on. I think it's more likely that we'll get a full press release and maybe new website mid-November.

It's mid-October as of now. This is from Seaworld/Busch Gardens' Official Blog posted last week:

But then after we see all the videos, I dont think they would make us wait another month until they make it official. I think that would be kind of weird, unless they made more teaser videos to release for the weeks in between or some sort of other teasing game.
