Cheetah Hunt

I hope someone makes asks about why they chose the name during the tour on Friday. Of course, I hope it's asked in a polite way.

Although the name might. I really hate the name Cheetah Hunt.

Look at Rip Ride and Rockit horrible name and lots of problems...
If our only complaint is the simplistic name we all good in my book, but I admit I was really diggin Cheetaka as the name of the coaster.

Busch Gardens just announced that Cheetah Hunt will open during Memorial Weekend.

Today is day 1 of the press hardhat tours... (TV and Inside the magic) so watch your news if your in Orlando or Tampa as their may be some coverage today or tomorrow...

Memorial day weekend starts May 27... It's the unofficial start of summer in the US

Rockit is definetely much more pleasing to say than Cheetah Hunt. It just sounds awkward to say just Cheetah or Hunt. :bang:

You could always call it C-Hunt and see how many times you get dirty looks or smacked in the face.

No different than any other attraction there. I'm sure they have investigated the effects on the cheetahs, and will be safe.

Actually, the LSM launch system they're using is relatively quiet compared to other methods. So I would doubt any effects on the animals.

mayby not an actual event... but they will probably offer pass-holder ERT during the mornings after it opens... much like they did for SheiKra and Manta.

Awesome I hope they do that, because I can tell I'm going to be instantly addicted to this coaster, so I hope to ride as much as possible.

Some notes from Cheetah Hunt Hard Hat Tour: 12 of 14 Cheetahs on site, 5 trains consisting of 16 riders, 1st train arrives next week. In development for 5 years, first launch 0-38 mph, architecture will act as sound barrier for animals.
