So some people are under the impression that the game is going under to be restructured to a free to play model. If that’s the case my one piece of advice is that they should completely go for the throat of Overwatch 2 and give players engaging PvE and story content like Blizzard promised and failed to deliver. Redoing the characters themselves and making them more than just cheap GotG knockoffs with bland designs would help as well.

Unless they’re going to do all that it should stay dead and serve as a tax write off.

Jeez. Ubisoft has been in a decline since the first Watch Dogs quality wise and they can’t seem to get their act together outside of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown which sadly didn’t get the sales it deserved.

I’m wondering if that Sands of Time remake is even worth waiting for or if I’ll be good sticking with the emulated GameCube version I have on my Steam Deck.

As a Nintendo fanboy I’m happy to see some competition come into the space and like I said before I hope this eventually comes to the Steam Deck.

I picked up Astro Bot last night from Target. It is so cute and fun to play. The kids have been playing it all morning. Sad I couldn’t find the Astro controller.

I've been playing a lot of Star Wars: Outlaws this week and really enjoying it. It's far from perfect (stealth mode is meh, some of the character animations get wonky) but it's been a lot of fun traipsing around planets known and unknown with the great score soaring in the background. I think it probably is a 7/10 game if you're neutral or agnostic about Star Wars; but if you're a big fan, that might be worth a couple points.

It's also great if you're one of the two dozen people who really enjoyed both Solo and The Last Jedi. So, perhaps I was born to dig it on those grounds alone.

I have not, but I’ve run into two different glitches that force me to restart the system. Thankfully the game autosaves very frequently, so this was more annoying than anything else.

My kids finished it in less than 24 hours. Now they have started it again. It’s been raining all weekend so I don’t feel guilty they’ve been gaming. If y’all liked the last Astro you’ll enjoy the new game
They watched a vlog review on the Astro controller and they were totally disappointed it doesn’t blink. They thought it gave reactions during game play.
Our next game purchase will the Lego Horizon Adventure. I think it comes out in November?? Maybe it will be a Xmas gift.

That is quick, the secret levels are really taxing me lol.
The developers announced 15 new levels will be added in the future and there will be timed levels like the current game has. All of this for free.

Yeah, in the Netherlands it's 800 euros add the disk drive and a stand and you are close to 1K. On the other hand that is the amount a family of 4 spends on a single day at Disney.

Also I will say while Spatoon at times could be light on some online content, its a very very fun game and only thing I never liked was the times for certain maps vs having all maps going at once like most online MP games

Older post, but honestly I love all the Splatoon games, and I think Splatoon 3 has an absolute ton of content, especially with the DLC. I appreciate a multiplayer shooter that includes a battle pass system included with no extra costs, purely to keep people playing the game more consistently. No microtransactions for anything. All of the weapons, skins, player ID's, emotes are earned by just playing the game. That's honestly so rare nowadays.

I thought the latest potential leak concerning the Switch 2 deserved a mention in this thread.

Personally I’d be very happy with this as it makes it possible that any game that’s able to run on the Series S could potentially come to the Switch 2 as well since it’ll naturally have some more modern tech inside of it.

Lucky for the Ps5 Generation games are rarely more then just PS4 games with 4K

I just want the Switch 2 to be able to play more 3rd Party games, I love it but thats its weakness and really wish we could get a Pro Switch but Nintendo just refuses to do more power consoles...while the other consoles pro's are just for fun....Nintendo needs it so it can run games better that are not Nintendo games....like Apex, Overwatch and fortnite as examples
