Opening year it did. Both Neutron and Shrek had crazy waits before the Mummy opened. When Neutron opened it would consistently hold a 60 min while Shrek on the other hand could get up to three hours which is why they had to add an extended queue as well as decide to convert the second theater. Also have to figure in that express was free back then. Shrek was pretty much the equivalent to TSMM at DHS. If you didn't get and express before about 10:30 you didn't get one.

^I'm with you. My first trip to the studios was in 2006, and Neutron very rarely exceeded half hour waits when I saw it.

To everyone wondering why people miss Jimmy the reason is not to do with the ride quality, film quality, preshow quality or anything having to do with any aspect like that. People miss it, including me, because it featured classic Nicktoon characters that people remember from their childhood. I remember riding Nicktoon blast the day before it closed and it was very sad walking out of those exit doors for the last time while it was still themed as Jimmy's lab. Don't get me wrong, I really like Despicable Me as a movie and a ride. It's a great addition, but I still long for the chicken dance sequence. People missing Jimmy is like when people missed Hannah Barbera.

Give me Hanna and Barbera any day for classic character involvement.

Yea...no offense, but Nicktoon Blast was just plain awful. I LOVED the old Nicktoons, but JN was just a bad ride.

No doubt it was a bad ride compared to all of the other amazing rides at the resort but if all of the technical flaws were ignored it was a great ride for fans of the Nicktoons.

Great point. Also the fact that Jimmy was the last thing we really had to hold on too from the days when Nickelodeon was in the park.

I was able to catch a ride on July 3rd. I thought the ride was excellent. Show rooms were awesome and I thought the experience was overall one of the best rides in Studios. I am very impressed that they can take the old ride system and make it feel so fresh and new. I did not, however, stay for the dance party haha One negative though, would be that in the 2nd preshow room you can see a safety message that is burned in the screen, maybe from Jimmy Neutron?

That's actually a "reflection" of the preshow room we're in. So it makes it look like they're in a control room behind glass.

You can see the mirrored Gru "G" fairly easily in this picture.

If you plan on riding this ride and not waiting a ridiculous amount of time go when the park opens. Seems like every time I go its an unbearable wait time which is understandable for it being a new attraction.

^^^It'll probably still have a huge wait. It's a family ride with low capacity.
