"They should open it". Keyword, "should"

From englishpage.com:

Should

"Should" is most commonly used to make recommendations or give advice.

Example: When you go to Berlin, you should visit the palaces in Potsdam. recommendation

Ergh.. Sorry I guess. I just misread your post as in it should be opened by such a date - i.e. if it doesn't get delayed. Don't think that post was really necessary...

Oh my God, if your assumptions are correct about May 26th, I could cry. My mother wants to ride this so badly. We're taking her to Uni that weekend for her birthday. What a present if it opened that day. I won't hold my breath, though.

They've added a balcony to one of the upper windows on the right. I'm loving the details of this building.

I wish it were true but with there being no solid opening date yet and Universal still saying "Summer" could mean anything through August. Not sure how much work is left inside.

Oh no, I'm well aware of this. I haven't even told her about the idea. Part of me is thinking like everyone else that this could very well be anywhere from mid-summer to the end. However, I'm still feeling a bit optimistic for an earlier date.

Although your technically correct, I highly doubt it. It'd be pretty stupid of Uni to do this besides if you think of oversees especially in Europe summer is generally mid may-august. Now do Uni want to disappoint these families with an opening that late, I highly doubt it. I think they would want it ready for the beginning of the season to attract families throughout the summer period then just the last part of it.

I honestly think WWOHP was suppose to be open earlier then it was and was delayed heavily.

It was. From what I understand, it was first slotted for the Spring of 2010. I remember seeing posters in the park throughout 2009 that advertised a Spring opening.

Precisely. But for most, Summer is perceived to encompass the entirety of June, since that is usually when American children go onto Summer Break. It basically opened on the precipice of both.

Whenever the gift shop opens you can expect softs within two weeks of that. I'm still thinking mid to late June but then again we still have no idea on the interior state. The inside sources on this ride have long gone dark.

So, I was looking on the Universal Disability Guide (http://www.universalorlando.com/Images/RidersGuideUpdateFlyer_tcm13-10940.pdf), and found this little tidbit:

This ride simulates the action of a high-speed aerial chase. The ride vehicle will
dramatically and suddenly accelerate, climb, stop and dive. The movement of
the vehicle includes sudden tilting and jarring actions. This attraction involves
strobes, laser lighting effects and fog effects.

Take all of this as you will...

Persons under 40” must experience this attraction from an adjacent stationary location. Stationary seating is available.

Well stationary seating is still in as well.

Did Jimmy Neutron have a similar description? That seems like an interesting way to describe the motion of those vehicles, although the height restriction is the same.

I remember fog, but not strobes or lasers. Would I be wrong in assuming that those will be new effects?

Neutron had lasers. It was a hit or miss effect. Sometime it worked, sometimes it didn't.

Yeah, it was definitely broken when I rode, then. Thank you. <3

Really? Man, just my luck that I'd ride with constantly broken effects. Ah well, stuff like that is unavoidable, I guess. I just hope that these effects will work better and perhaps got a nice update with the rest of the retheme.
