So King Bob let slip a bombshell rumor on his Save PI blog--possibly the first East Coast In & Out Burger coming to Disney Springs.

Also, the American Girl store on the early leaked documents? Going to Florida Mall. And since there are only 15 of them, seems likely it will be exclusive to the Orlando market.

I find that very, very hard to believe since all of the [existing] stores are within a day's drive from their distribution facilities because none of the food is frozen.

It could be the start of Orlando being hit with them. It can be done, Wawa proved that. Chains that exist in other parts of the country can make it here in Orlando since Orlando consists of a ton of people from all over the country.

Very possible, but it also undermines the specialness of the one at Disney Springs as others will have to open up nearby in quick succession to support the distribution network. In-N-Out also does not need Disney and could get a better deal elsewhere while knowing they'd still draw a crowd.

You have to remember many are arriving for Thanksgiving vacation today so that's to be expected all around.

I had the same experience 2 weeks ago. I needed to pick up some Vinylmation and got parked all the way in Lot Q barely finding a spot. It was a nightmare, and 2015 is way too late for the garage to be up (granted all of Disney's completion dates are)

If you want to go buy anything there, get there before about 4pm and parking should be pretty easy. If you want to go for dinner, well...your choice, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're driving.

I agree with everything you said. Parking was the worse aspect followed by too many people gettng up in the personal bubble. Another reason why i cant stand disney.

Not sure if you saw mine a couple above yours, but yeah, 10 minutes to get from I-4 to the valet line ... then sat 25 without even so much as inching forward before moving some cones and leaving again. No explanation, no apology.

I don't know how the AMC lasts 18 months of this. Even with its location, it's primarily a local venue and right now I see myself going to CityWalk or Pointe Orlando (which believe me I kind of hate) or getting to know that theater in the Loop. I'd generally see 20+ movies a year there but done.

Parking was easy tonight behind Cirque. Went to see The Day of the Doctor at AMC. Monday must not be so popular.

I've never had a problem finding parking. Before heading back home on Sundays I'll usually get to DTD around 4-4:30 and its never so slammed. I imagine it's the Thanksgiving crowd.

Any movement on construction at DTD? I don't go there often, and was wondering how things were moving along.

In addition to the main PI walkway being closed, permits have been filed to build "The Boathouse," i.e. that Schussler "motorboats and root beer floats" restaurant where Beach Club was. Also, the parking garages are coming along at a snail's pace. Not sure if vertical yet.

It's been vertical since probably at least Thanksgiving last year. Amazingly given how slow it's moving, I hear they are ahead of schedule.

This is Disney, "ahead of schedule" just means it will open before 2030

I was just there this weekend, this place is an absolute cluster right now. Its crazy how slow it takes Disney to build a parking garage and UO started their employee garage AFTER TDO started here.

They literally have people park at TDO and then bus them over. The smart thing would have been to build the parking structure in phases instead of taking up the entire parking lot and making traffic in the area an absolute nightmare.

Did a fish tank really burst open at T-Rex today? The pic I saw was one of the big round tanks... it was like a waterfall onto the guests.
