Just saw the "Disneyland Clapper" today at Disneyland. Like to clap along to his beat. Does anyone else know who I'm talking about?

I have a few photos with him. He's pretty much like Disneyland's Brenda.

DCA will be officially retiring Mad T Party on March 30th. I've never witnessed it myself so I don't really have any sort of connection to it, but it does seem odd to get rid of something that would be free advertising for their new Alice film that comes out in May.

Mad T Party was attracting way too many weird people. I thought it was pretty stupid to be honest. I'm glad to see food and wine coming back.

Screamscape has been giving out some somewhat disappointing rumors regarding Disney (If this is true). According to Screamscape, Star Wars won't be ready until 2020. Supposedly, when it opens, they're going to drop Star Tours while they "move" it over to Star Wars Land and replace it in the meantime with the Iron Man Experience.

It was also mentioned that the Marvel land at DCA would not be ready until 2023/24. By then they may either scrap the Iron Man experience or move it to DCA. Knowing Disney it will probably take them 20 years to finally replace the vacant space where Star Tours originally would be. Haha

I'm sure all of this will be amazing, but it's depressing to see how long we have to wait for anything new to come from Disney.

I think Screamscape is assuming that Star Wars Land will have a simultaneous opening on both coasts. The Florida version may open in 2020. From what I understand the California version should open sooner.

I keep hearing that California is getting it first too. Which makes sense because while they do have a lot of work ahead of them, it doesn't seem like nearly as much as Florida has to do to get it ready.

Seems like they could very easily have SW open mid to late 2018 and Marvel open in 2020.

Last I had heard was that Disneyland wants to get SW open as soon as possible. They've realized (thanks to Universal) that the faster they build something the sooner the money can start pouring in. And they know it will once SW opens.

That's good to know. Clearly WDW could use a good lesson in getting things open. :P

Star Wars Land should open in Anaheim by summer 2019 (if not sooner), with DHS to follow the next year. I don't think there's room to be able to move Star Tours over to SWL in Disneyland... not sure why Lance would even bother to believe that rumor but hey: he's put more unbelivable stuff out there.

Disneyland (and WDW) will break ground for Star Wars Land next month. It's also mentioned that the plans have been slightly tweaked since we last heard about them/saw the concept art last year.

Also; it was leaked earlier that a new Parking Structure, Transportation Hub and walkway to DLR would be built soon.

Somebody actually cornered Iger at the Shareholders meeting on Thursday about the (never confirmed) moving sidewalks and him and Staggs, and both were stumped on what the dude was even talking about.

They did however confirm the plans. It should be finished by late 2018 in time for right before SWL.

They really need to do a small DCA expansion to accompany SWL but that's just me...

I guess this is step one in getting all things Marvel over to DCA before they build an entire land?
