Last night Jim Hill brought up the idea that the closed attractions had little impact on actual guest satisfaction in the park. Discuss.

And yet USF will be completely different by the time DHS is 1/2 way done.

It fits perfectly tbh and the soundtrack is timeless.

It fits perfectly if you ignore the fact that RNR is on Sunset Blvd and RNRC would be a complete waste of that franchise.

Well RNRC (neither does BatB) already doesn't fit on Sunset and there's only so much Disney can do with Guardians since they can't use the villains. A proper story cannot be put together.

The only part that fits is that it takes place in Hollywood.

Sunset is set as "old hollywood"... RNRC is certainly not that.

Wait... One Man's Dream is expected to close??? Arguably the best attraction in that park! Moving it elsewhere I would hope?

Oh no, This truly hurts. I really hope they are moving it, if not... this move is as disrespectful as the day they removed Walt's first name from Walt Disney Pictures. I can see how dissapointed he would be right now. :(

Yeah if we really wanna analyze with a fine-tooth comb, but it certainly isn't as jarring as putting GotG in there.

So is this new Soundstage Lounge part of the $2 billion overhaul?

I would guess that the closed attractions weren't on the high side of customer satisfaction, so that is probably right in a narrow way. But, & it's a big but, now there's such a decreased capacity in a park that didn't have much capacity before, that even GMR now has long lines and so do the other few attractions, that I would believe that guest satisfaction will drop with the increase of standing in long lines & the early in the day disappearance of fastpass availability.

Well, I disagree when it comes to the meet and greet and animation tutorial. I think the animation tutorial will especially be missed.

I think the one closure that some people may actually notice/miss is LMA. Once guests walk past Muppets and realize there is nothing, I think satisfaction will start dropping.

I think that it is pretty arrogant and irresponsible to run a park this way, but guests are allowing them to.

There is absolutely no reason why something is not currently under construction. Bare minimum, BatB should be changing to Tangled. DHS' problems are not new. A solution shouldn't be something they are still formulating.

It seems like there's much more to do now at Fun Spot than DHS. That plus the price gap between the 2, just seems wrong to me.

Well I wasn't suggesting actually doing it, just that out of all of the ideas i've heard of to retheme RNRC over the years, it's easily the coolest and fits the RIDE best, not the theme. That's what I meant when I said it fit good.

I would imagine an Awesome Mix edition of Rock 'n Roller Coaster would be rather pricey licensing all of those individual artists.

I would suggest that the last think that DHS needs is for RNRC to go down for any amount of time.

Nobody is suggesting it should. Just thinking out loud.

Especially considering TSMM will have some downtime to implement the track expansion. That entire end of the park will be tumbleweed country.

So apparently this lame "Soundstage Lounge" with a few benches, a trashcan and pics of Walt in the old Captain Jack space. Worst of all? They didn't even take the time to take down half of the props from that walk-through...

This has honestly become pathetic. Like how could you put something like that out there for people?

My nine year old nephew goes to Disney world twice a year. The animation academy is in his top three favorite things to do at the world. When I told him he tried to look brave and fought back the tears but he was so devastated. I am taking to dl for the first time and reassured him he could
do it there to talk him off the ledge.
