Well the park doesn't open until the first day of spring. I imagine it should be ready by then.

General Park News - (2/9/12) Theme Park Tourist reports that Dollywood has reached a settlement with Huss over the defective Timber Tower ride, and that Pete Owens confirmed to them that Timber Tower, “is likely not to reopen.” Terms of the settlement are confidential, but do not include a requirement to restore the ride to a functional state. Such a shame it all came down to this, because when Timber Tower did work, it was quite incredible to watch all the various special effects Dollywood added come to life all around the themed environment.

I never enjoyed Timber Tower much. Really awkward and boring ride, regardless of the extra effects. Perhaps they could replace it with something next year. I hate to see an attraction just sit there, especially in such plain site.

During my last visit it was DOWN 97% of the day... Good riddance!

If I had the choice between riding Timber and Tower or the carousel, I'd pick the carousel.

I think it's a little over a minute. Or are you not counting the lift hill?

And yeah, that thing is LOUD.

Also, is it just me or does it look like it needs a bit more momentum on that last inversion?

I hate quoting pictures, but that is a beautiful looking attraction and load station...plus the eagle sculpture is beautiful...never been to Dollywood always wanted to
