Great question, Joe, and -again- i apologize for lack of context.
Summarily, I really just meant that first response for Brian. As someone who writes for Universal and manages these forums, he's not going to find it dire because he's accessory to whatever tactics Universal employs. He's going to go regardless and managing the forums = managing expectations more or less. This isn't going to be dire for him and he's not going to lose sleep over it.
I don't personally think it's dire because my business doesn't only sell Universal or Disney, but full-scale Domestic and International packages. Hell, i make the most of my money off of personally managing Destination Wedding Groups. This isn't dire to me on the business spectrum because it's not my meat, but moreso my delicious potatoes that i take advantage of every year.
And i reinforce, that this SHOULD be dire for Universal BECAUSE it IS dumb and because it IS their business. My survival isn't based on whether this park opens successfully or not, but theirs is.
