This ride just strikes me as a lazy Disney move. The real thing that grates me is the plot they're using for this, which could have been utilized a lot better.

This is one attraction I will just walk by and never attempt riding. The franchise leaves me COLD. And yet, I understand that it will be very popular as I have seen the men and boys ogling the cars when they have been on display in the past.

Like you, I have absolutely no interest in the IP. But the general public will eat the IP up, no doubt. And I hope they upgrade the 360 portion, like it appears they did with Kong, since it seems that was a little weak from the reviews I've seen. But I can't get excited about the attraction, though I'm sure I'll end up liking the ride. I just may not love the ride. Well, we've got a lot of time to figure this one out. No one seems to know anything real concrete at this point. It will give us lots of talking points in the next 18 months. Doubt it will open until mid to late Fall 2017 at the earliest.

Awhile back i could have sworn that tweet with ludacris teasing his role on the ride you can faintly read his lines in a reflection in the back they said something like welcome to race day at the garage. Hints to a different story line? Someone help me find it lol

What's there to know??? I have a good sense of the building being constructed. I'm assuming more musion, warehouses, power tools, combustion engines and hokey machismo. (I just had a cold shudder)

Heh, anything is better than "Teebin". Teebin should change his to "Holy Machismo" before Surfster does. . It will confuse UC & Epcylcopedia.

Weird thing, I love this movie but not sure about the ride. The story line will make or break this ride.

I saw a clip of the Hollywood version of this ride- er, the Fast and the Furious section of the backlot tour. There's a bit about how one of the passengers is a "high value witness" that's being targeted by the villain. It could add a bit if they take a page from Star Tours and have one of the riders randomly selected to be put up on screen as the witness.

As one of the biggest fans of this franchise, and seeing videos of Kong as well as the F&F tram tour addition., I officially have absolutely ZERO hope for this ride now.

I have almost zero hype for this ride at this point. I think Kong looks good but I also think the idea of translating a very similar type of ride to F&F is literally the most boring idea ever.
