2017 is going to be such an insanely weird year for the parks. Although I think Volcano Bay will be spectacular, there will be the idiots who are disappointed that it's "just" a water park. F&F, if a clone, will disappoint; and Fallon... well it's Fallon.

And then you have Avatar at DAK which will be purty but... it's Avatar.

SeaWorld will have opened Mako the year prior, presumably nothing there either.

Throw in the fact that Disneyland will be starting SWL construction, Season of the Force will be in its second year, DHS will be in midst on constructing TSL and you have D23 where it'll be announcement and details heaven... but we're all still not there yet.

I think it might just be the most headache-inducing year for sure, because we all will be getting new things that a large amount of people probably won't be satisified with for a myraid of different reasons. We'll all just be salivating over Nintendo for 2018, I guess. Maybe USH will deliver something.

Maybe.

I couldn't disagree more with you. While some of the internet forum hardcore fans will be disappointed, the General Public will be in a state of ecstatic joy over what's happening at Universal Orlando & WDW in 2017. These are, except for Fallon, major attractions & lands. Orlando will probably experience record tourist traffic unless the economy tanks. And people will be happy with what they see. ....Take a look at F&F on the Tram Tour. Insiders don't care for the attraction but the attendance has exploded for a park that's all construction walls right now. The general public wanted to see F&F and they keep coming back. The General Public is the bottom line, not people like you & me that study these forums and have much higher expectations than the average theme park attendee. :)

That looks like 2 single seats with a way oversized bar in front of a green screen. Don't think that's an RV of any kind.

How many people on here have seen the RV? Is that 2 now for the small vehicle and 1 for the tram?

Wouldn't a small RV with an Orlando attraction similar to Hollywood create capacity problems? Seems like Universal usually aims for apx. 2000 hr. That would probably require a large capacity vehicle. The caveat of course is that the attraction will be somewhat like Hollywood. Like the transition to Kong from Hollywood to Orlando, Kong is using high capacity vehicles. So I would guess these will also be high capacity, similar or somewhat smaller than Kong.

Consider this - if it ends up being a clone with a similar tram system (say, you board a bus instead of a tram), then go to the 360 tunnel - then the attraction will be unique from everything else in Orlando. In Hollywood, it's just part of the tour, but over here there's nothing like it in either park. The closest thing would be Kong.

I'm expecting this to be a clone now because Teebin is heavily implying it will be. Guy's got good sources. Losing Beetlejuice is the thing that's a tad confusing, but we don't know where the entrance will be or how the ride show rooms will be situated - and I assume there will be more than one, like in Hollywood.

I also think the removal of the San Francisco language in the new press release is important. It points to them reusing the film they already produced, as awful as it is.

Or that's part of the more info to be released later. :)

I have a hard time believing that in 24 hours they decided to make the change from San Fran to a different locale. Baloney. It was simply removed in the editing process by the PR department. No more, no less.

Maybe! But since it's out there, why not just say it now? What compelled them to have it in the originally scheduled post only to edit it out?

I sincerely hope you're right and that we get a new, improved ride film.

Yeah I get your valid point. To be honest all I've seen is literally the skeleton of the RV, so what the end product will be.... who knows! but first of all I'm looking at it as a posible coaster like track that will loop around instead of the current 1 RV (load - forward to show scene - reverse back to load). If they are thinking in doing the same "forward and reverse" type of ride then I saw an RV for something else (but it does look like a car). Also keep in mind Rip Rock It capacity is technically 6 but when you stick 2 together it makes 12, and I believe that's what is going to happen. So capacity will be determined by how many RV carts they will attach together, and how many brake stations.

And there we are, @Teebin.

Figured as much.

Looking at things yesterday, the Ghirardelli is just too friggin long on the east side. That should stop after two awnings and begin a new unique building. What they do with the sign at the top is their problem. Look at how dull this street is in that area. Wall-O-Brick.

And the cypress trees... what's with that? I am not aware of any cypress growing in San Fran. Regardless, they're ugly as sin...

An interesting idea would be to do the Cars in the outside queue, put the Rave/Garage scenes in the walkthrough section of Disaster.

Honestly, the more I look at the artwork of the queue, I'm starting to think it's just going to be the Disaster queue themed up some, so this may be plausible.

This "ride" will have Vin Diesel, babes, and a Superbird in the queue. Throw in some dirty camo in somewhere and it's a SE U.S.A. wet dream.
