According to Reddit it’s still covered by that big green box. Either they’re really making big changes here or they just decided to pull the plug on good ol longneck. It’s just bad show heading into the busy summer season. Fingers crossed they do something soon

MAJOR UPDATE: they added some vines to it... so it's all good now!

So watched a video of the ride to see the difference between this version and USH

This ride is "bigger" and would kinda like to see how they would improve it if they did upgrade the ride..
Yeah, this version would lend itself better to a retheme than Hollywood IMO. It’s bigger and emptier, meaning that they have more space and less existing infrastructure to work around. Hollywood’s was tighter and smaller, but had more effects and animatronics crammed in. That means that they were probably pretty confined with what they could do

When Hollywood removed the hadrosaur and the baby, I heard their parts were shipped to IOA, but I don't know how true that was. would be cool if they added a fixed neck and a baby to the area since there is nothing on the right side.

On the other hand, Creature shop is making some new dinosaurs, hopefully, they are added to JWRA. As I've said in many threads, the dinosaurs are embarrassing at this point.

Maybe that’s why the ultrasaur’s missing!

Do you mean Ultrasaur? I think Hollywood kept it’s Hadrosaur.

While the main Jurassic World series of movies is over, maybe there is another upcoming Jurassic property, likely a streaming series, that IOA can retheme their JPRA to.

Yeah, I meant Ultrasaur. Was the USH Ultra working well before she was removed?
Much better than the IOA version. They were two almost entirely different animatronics. The Hollywood one had a much more realistic range of motion and didn’t have the crooked neck. Even in its later years it still looked 10x better than the IOA version. If they sent them both to IOA like you said simply installing the Hollywood ultrasaurs would be a great temporary fix

The idea of JPRA receiving an update should not rely upon a new JP/JW movie/tv show, the ride is in really bad shape when it comes to what should be the "thesis" attraction of Jurassic Park.
1000% agree, the ride and land would lose a ton of charm if completely rethemed to JW. I think it’s really awesome to have a classic attraction themed to JP along with a coaster themed to JW. None of the islands are completely consistent in their sense of time and place, I never got the argument that the whole land must be rethemed because of Velocicoaster.

I feel that they handled things well, with each iteration of a Jurassic World attraction being unique to the parks they are at. Jurassic Park as it is currently is remains very charming, with very tropical/relaxed vibes and music that would be lost with a full land conversion to JW. The only thing the land really needs is major work on the River Adventure animatronics to keep them working consistently.

I know, the state of the ride makes this a tough one. I think the land itself is better with the JP theme, especially the discovery center, but the marquee attraction is falling apart by the day. The land is great and sets high expectations just for its major e-ticket to disappoint. It seems like uni would only spend money to fix the attraction if it was given a JW retheme, but then you’d lose the charm of the land. In a perfect world they’d overhaul it and keep the JP theme, but uni seems to be pretty stubborn on that one
